Included in the Freedom 1 PLUS intercom, Freedom audio kit, hybrid microphone, glue plate, rectangular Velcro pads, speaker relocates, square Velcro pads and USB cable. TROUBLESHOOTING : (1) SOFT RESET If your FREECOM 1+ stops responding, reset it in one of these ways: -Turning it off and then on again -Using the supplied USB cable,connect your unit to the computer or wall charger for 30 second. la duración de la batería es muy buena, lo mismo que el sonido es muy bueno, he tenido problema para hacer llamadas, pero recibe bien cuando me llaman, deberían de colocarle una cuerda o algo en la unidad que permita que uno lo asegure con una cuerda como lo que traen las go pro.

    • Stop shopping and get this one. I spent 3 months analyzing every option.
Great bang for your buck. So far no downside for the price point. The install was the most difficult part as you have to plan the wiring and if you're as meticulous as I am (often mistaken as a perfectionist), things have to look right, sound amazing and feel comfortable. The hardest part is lining up the speakers appropriately to your ears if your helmet doesn't have designated cutouts. Also the speakers are thick (making amazing sound), so if there isn't a recess for them to sit in, and your ears already fold a bit putting on your helmet, this will be a painful experience. Plan accordingly. Cardboard traced to the speaker shape, a razor, and a ton of patience. The sound qualify is clear and loud, calls are crisp according to the opinion of who I call (actually clearer than using the phone as normal, so I've been told). Functionality is easy, but the button combinations to use the features take some memorization. The FM radio is a nice touch if you use the Cardo app. And if you have MP3s saved to your phone it has a "music player" feature that reads them. But I doubt that will get any use as I use a streaming service. GPS also is clearly audible as well and has a nice fade out/in when you get a call. Overall very pleased with the purchase. The only negative from a Cardo Design perspective is the way the device attaches to the plate, in comparison to others. It is a horizontal tab that click the unit in place. The release lever cannot be mistakenly hit, but if it is the unit WILL disconnect and go flying off. Other devices sit in a vertical post or slide in a tab, in a way they can "dangle there" for a second, allowing you to realize your sound interruption is due to it physically disconnecting, saving it from dropping. Again just a pet peeve of mine, as I shopped almost every other brand big and small, make and model, to eventually purchase this unit. Would definitely purchase again if lost or damaged (or flew off). And would make any rider happy if it was a gift. ... show more

    • Great product but watch tutorials before installing
Not the easiest to install but it’s a great product. The combination of having to take the helmet lining apart and then getting the correct placement and locking everything back in with the cords is definitely not the easiest but not impossible I would recommend watching videos before doing so. Also place the spacers it allows for better audio quality. I haven’t had an issue with battery life it lasts about 3 nice good rides. I personally love it the installation was just a little frustrating ... show more

I absolutely loved the design and ease of use. The speakers & microphone installation was rather easy. They sync up with my phone very fast and other headsets via app. Peaople on the other end of a call have asked if I was in my office while I was riding. It doesn’t give any background noise at all. I researched the best quality motorcycle communication system for my helmet after the other two top brands did not meet my expectations. I paired this product with the JBL speakers in my helmet and WALA! The price can't be beaten. Unlike the other top brand, the App was available for my iPhone 7 so I could adjust the treble or bass. I also found great reviews and directions for installation online. I would recommend this product if you are riding solo or with a passenger. Get the Cardo 2, 3, or 4, for more linkage to more than one rider. ... show more

    • Comparable to the Sena10
The sound quality is much better than the Sena 10 series I had, which died after two years. The cord the speakers plug into has a rather fat connection in the middle (standard earphone plug), which can be problematic in a helmet with little space to hide it. The controls are not as easy or intuitive as the Sena, and are not as easy to hit, especially with gloves. I can't get my siri voice recognition to work reliably yet. I do like the auto volume lowering feature, that causes the volume of music to decrease as wind noise/speed decreases, but not enough that I would but this just for that. It is a little more compact than the Sena as well. Overall- it has its drawbacks and its pluses. Compared to the Sena 10 series, its kind of a "six of one half a dozen of another" situation. ... show more

    • The 1+ Cardo is Okay for Pillion, but recommend the 4+ Cardo anyway
I bought this for riding pillion with my friend that owns a motorcycle. It worked okay, but it had a hard time connecting if we were in primary wifi zone. So, often I'd have my friend turn their 4+ Cardo on first and then I could turn my 1+ Cardo on after we got going then we'd be able to communicate with minimal issues. Once I began learning to ride, the range wasn't sufficient to keep communication so I had to upgrade to the 4+. The price difference between the 1+ and 4+ is so reasonable that if I could go back I would have just bought the 4+ in the beginning. Even though we don't group ride with 4 people the range in it makes it great to communicate whether it's a pillion situation or us each riding our own motorcycle. ... show more
