These CARCOS wide leg pants are the perfect travel wear. They're lightweight, soft, and very comfortable to wear, with a smocked elastic waist. They also dry very fast, which can be a plus on vacation when you're in and out of a swimsuit. The hips were a little tighter than I'd prefer, but I have bigger hips, so this was kind of expected. I love these, and I don't wear them to the beach, although you absolutely could. I wear them around the house, they are lightweight, very comfortable and I feel like I could easily run errands with them. The fit is good, fit is what I expected. The crop pants I chose from this listing is: 10-LEOPARD in a size: 3X which translates to a size 22-24 according to the size chart and I consider them to be true to size but they are intended as a lose fit and not as a fitted style. Comfy. These are also high waisted, so they do measure rather long from top of waist to straddle seam. There is a working drawstring at the waist -meaning the tie can actually be cinched to a comfortable feel, unlike some ties which are merely for looks. I hope that makes sense. The 3 1/2 inch wide waistband is smocked elastic which feel comfortable and doesn’t roll over at the top. The fabric is 93% polyester and 7% spandex which has a comfortable feel and is easy care by machine washing inside out in cold water and then machine drying, but I only dry until barely dry on lowest heat. While the fabric is thin, it is not sheer. I have included photos which show the fabric held up to a lamp light to show the fabric density is just right for warm weather wear. These are crop pants so they measure 38 inches from waistband to hemline. The pant legs are 15 inches wide which provide quite flowy pant legs which are perfect for wear in Summer weather. There is a pocket on each side which is really deep measuring 11 inches and they are 7 inches wide. Gotta love those.
