Alot of stuff in there for the money, gift and they went nuts over it

My daughter loves turning the dial to see what will come in the capsule and put them together. She has a hard time putting the upper body and lower body together.

  • Lots of pieces

My daughter watched someone play with these on YouTube and wanted them. Fun to put together and swap pieces.

  • My Thoughts:
Style: Sweet Circuits
They are a hit and miss. I opened one box, and I got a girl who I didn't like at all. It is part of the mystery though. It was that her parts didn't match at all. I wouldn't get more, but they are super cute. I will cherish the one I have that I have, but I don't want more at this moment.

  • Cool idea for a toy, but quality is questionable
Style: Ram Rock
UPDATE: I had to submit the product batch number on the box to the company and they sent me two replacement dolls to make up for the one that broke, so that was nice. They were very easy to deal with and didn’t give me a hassle, so I added one star to the review. The replacements took over a month to get here, but they said it might take a little longer due to the pandemic. We’ve had them for a few months now and no other dolls have broken, so that’s good news! Here’s my review of the “idea” of this product, followed by my final recommendation: My daughter likes these dolls. The “gumball machine” type box is pretty cool for kids to do. I have to help her turn it most of the time because the capsules get stuck in the turner. The head and body are not easy for a child to put together. The legs are easier to attach to the body, but depending which skirt it comes with, the legs will detach from the body randomly while playing with the doll. All the pieces are interchangeable with other Capsule Chix, so you’ll need to buy a bunch to be able to change their looks. The accessories (hair, purse, shoes, bracelet, skirt) are cute. She’s opened 5 so far, and within two days one of our doll’s legs snapped off. It broke off at the dowel so we can’t reattach it. So now we have only 4 complete dolls. This is very frustrating, as my daughter wasn’t playing rough and probably played with that doll a total of 30 minutes over the two days. So, unless you’re willing to waste 20% of your money for something that will break with 30 minutes of play, then I wouldn’t recommend these. I’m going to attempt to contact the company and will update my review with their response. ... show more

  • These could be so cute if they didnt fall apart quickly.
Style: Giga Glam
I like to collect a ton different styled dolls and figures - and this seemed right up my alley. I thought the art on these would make up for some of the problems i had heard the toys were having. The box is fun, but of course it's a lot of plastic if you dont want to keep the box and reuse it's mechanism. Once you get the doll out and see how it first together - it feels nice and interesting - but not revolutionary. The outfits and look of the doll are fine - a few of the outfits are very cute and a few of the characters you can make are adorable. When you actually build it - that's when the fun goes away quickly. The items are tiny, some of the things are going to break in a year or two of wear - and of course the body joints do not stick. I cant say how many times the dolls came apart at the waist while trying to get the feet into shoes or the hard plastic skirts to fit correctly. Then on one particular doll - the hair and the head had a large gap - which was hard to start to fix. The warping on the plastic can make the doll look closer to a bootleg then a real thing. I know about face plates and hair pieces - having had figmas - but these soft rubbery pieces can warp if near heat or crushed. Unsure if adult collectors or kids will love these past the intial set up - as you cant really play with these or pose them. They fall apart when you try to move them into different stances, or just dont do much else then stand. It's not that different then the stiff Lol suprise dolls - but i had wanted a little more from these due to the articulation. ... show more
