I'm gonna go out on a limb and say, this is likely a reproduction, of the Capri Blue candles sold at Anthropologie. One of the candles came with scented oil all over the outside of the jar, and neither of the candles smell as strong as the candles I've purchased from Anthropologie. And the biggest indicator, neither of the candles are burning evenly. The wax seems to be stickier (??) than the ones I've purchased from the store in the past, and just burns straight down the center. At this point, I've burned the candles for several hours, so returning isn't exactly an option; but to say I am very disappointed is an understatement. So disappointed in this candle. Wick is now burnt out at the bottom and there is a ton of unused wax on the sides. Lovely candle, wonderful scent, and simply too expensive for the amount of wax that it actually uses. Sadly, won’t be a repeat customer.

Received this candle and was very disappointed. I have purchased the Capri candles before, and this was definitely not the authentic one. Arrived without a lid, floating around in a cardboard Amazon box. Candle itself was scratched on the top and the paint was wearing off the side.

A good candle if you have a bowl to sacrifice. I was very excited to get this candle because I heard great things about it, but was very disappointed when I opened the box. The glass enclosure was all shattered so I contacted Amazon and explained it was broken when I received it. They said I would be sent a new one and wouldn’t be charged for the replacement. I was so excited to smell it that I put the first candle in a bowl and waited for the replacement. The replacement came quickly, but that one was also shattered when it came. I didn’t mention it because I figured sacrificing a bowl was worth having a replacement with no charge. Eventually I was charged for the replacement, so all in all I was charged twice for 2 broken candles. Love the smell, but buy it in the store if you don’t want to deal with broken glass. ... show more

This is my FAVORITE candle scent that I normally by at Anthropologie. I dont live close to one and didnt want to pay for shipping on anthro so this was a great alternative. After reading some of the reviews about the candle tunneling, I did some research and it turns out that you should burn the candle for several hours each time you use it so that it doesnt create the "tunnel". Clearly thought I purchased capri blue volcano candle. Candle arrived and when lit I thought, this smells different! Label on front of jar reads “blue jean” and sticker on bottom reads “aloha orchid”. However I could tell there were 2 stickers, so when pulled off I can read sticker underneath is “blue jean”. So frustrated! I’m not a fan of the blue jean scent, that’s why I ordered volcano! ... show more

The candle we received was orange, not the cobalt blue advertised. The scent was much more citrus smelling than authentic Volcano. We kept it, though to be fair to the vendor, we should have returned it.

I love this scent and have ordered this candle in the past through Amazon. Other reviewers are correct about the poorly designed wick leaving a lot of candle behind. I usually get around this problem by using what remains in a scented oil burner. I am concerned that the candles I just ordered are fakes or have a major quality control issue because they put out absolutely no smell. I still have a candle I previously ordered and it smells many times stronger than the ones I just received. Extremely disappointing. ... show more
