This is a beautiful little skirt for dance class. Lightweight and easy on/off for a young dancer. The giant tags needed to be cut out of the skirt but aside from that minor annoyance it’s really nice. Definitely worth what I paid.

My daughter wore it once to dance class. It’s cute and fits as expected, but taking it off for the first time she pulled it down and the waistband ripped from the skirt. Guess I’ll be sewing.

My little sister needed this for a lyrical dance class she signed up for and has been attending these past few months. She says the material is soft and isn’t itchy even when she isn’t wearing tights under her leotard (she complains everything is itchy!) she’s a little taller for her age, but the skirt seems to be the perfect length for dance class (right above mid thigh) She’s also quite thin, but the elastic in the waitband allows it to stay up on her waist. This is exactly what one looks for in a sheer ballet skirt. It has a wrap look, ideal for young girls' ballet uniforms. My kid loves it. The fabric seems a little scratchy to me, which is why I gave it 4 stars, but since it goes over a leotard and tights, it doesn't matter much. The waist is wide and soft, but cinches enough to fit my skinny kid; it looks generally size-accurate and accommodating.
