Last year, I purchased these tights for my daughter's ballet class simply because I looked for toddler's ballet tights on Amazon, found these, and bought them. They lasted her the whole ballet season without holes or tears right up until recital time when the stitching at one of her toes came loose and created a small hole. Summer came and I forgot that she would need new tights in the fall. So this year when she needed new tights for ballet, I was in a hurry and purchased them at a local department store. Wrong move. They didn't even make it to the first class. While we were putting them on they got a snag which then created a large hole and by the time we arrived at her first dance class, I had to turn her tights around because she had a gaping hole in the front. So after that class I went in search of the great brand of tights she wore last year. I thought they were another brand (Moret), so I purchased those, had her wear them and again they only made it through one dance class. By the end of the class they were riddled with runs and snags and just looked terrible. So I did something I should have done before which would not have only saved me time but money as well, I looked at her tights from last year to find the brand (Capezio) and then went into my Amazon account to find the exact same kind I ordered last year...and I ordered them, in the next size up. She has been using them for a couple of months now and they are just like I remembered. No runs or snags, the material is perfect for a child - it isn't shiny and is actually thicker in weight which I think is what helps it last so long and not get holes in it. They have been washed numerous times, not even on the delicate cycle, and they have come out of the washing machine and dryer looking great (I would be careful to make sure that there is nothing with Velcro on it in same load). And it is the perfect color of pink. So do yourself a favor and purchase these tights over other brands. From my experience, they will last you longer and save you money and frustration.

We love this brand of dance tights! The quality is amazing compared to other brands. They don’t snag as fast as other brands and they look quality! They are on the thicker side but still thin and isn’t to warm in the summer. The band is a little tight around the belly but my daughter doesn’t complain about them being uncomfortable. I would recommend getting these over the cheaper brand because they will last longer!

Not very stretchy and my girls said they were uncomfortable. They were decent quality though. So if this pair saves you money for your end-of-year recitals.. they only wear them for pictures and the performance. You'll be okay.

These were available to buy at a dance studio for around $20.. found these for $5.25. You’d be crazy to pass on these. Obviously a well known dance brand and a great price. I went with the S/M for my 7 year old but wish I had got the M but they did the job still. They stretched enough after one wear. The waist was a tad tight but as said before, it got the job done. Absolutely perfect condition. No runs or tears, all seams intact. They didn’t show through. We’re not doing dance after this year but if we were, best believe I would order these every time. I will recommend these to others though!

My daughter is a skinny mini. She's 12 and has always worn a Capezio child large tight. We purchased these for recital and I was appalled! The color was great but the shine/sheen was off. Also the waist band was floppy?? We put a pair on for pictures before recital and she couldn't even get them all the way up over her hips and the seat, crotch area was down lower than the front. It was so weird. Oh, and the feel was like a flat, superfine grit sandpaper--for real!! I don't know who is manufacturing these tights now but they are NOT the same as they ones I purchased 6 months ago! They said Capezio but in no way did they act and feel like Capezio. BLOCH, Theatricals and Steele are way better. That's just my opinion. Get several different pair beforehand, then decide which to keep.
