Buy them! My girl is 11 with athletic shape. She can fit in anything from a size 8 to 12 in leggings type pants. I took a chance and bought the large- they look great!! . I could have purchased the medium which would have probably been a perfect fit.. however, the large will give room to grow and I love the little bit longer leg length. Because they are strechy and thick quality the large fit her little waist and stay in place just fine. Win win for Mom ✔️ I will purchase a couple more for backup and under skirts. ... show more

These shorts are completely see through. My daughter wears them over a leotard, so it didn’t matter to her, but I was really surprised by how sheer they are. Now, after one use, there is a ton of piling on the rear. This has turned out to be a very cheap fabric, and product. Very disappointing.

Both my son and daughter are into gymnastics and modern dance. They both wear the same size so are always swapping clothes. These shorts fit them both and they are not at all sheer. I bought them for my 12 year old daughter to wear over her convertible tights for her dance class and she loves them. She said they are soft and comfy. She wears anywhere from a size 12-14 pants and she weighs 88 lbs.

Love the look and feel of the product. However, the sizing is not credible. I ordered size 14 for my tall and muscular nine yr. old girl (usually wears a 10-12), but they are too tight for comfort in the crotch. She manages to get by 1 hr./wk. in class, and hopefully can finish the year. Was Christmas gift, so maybe we can get 4 months out of them. ... show more

True to size and a nice material - we needed something for underneath a white Victoria "Cats" costume - the leg hem on these was a bit too thick - but would recommend for other applications.
