The replacement was marked 8', but it also didn't fit. I measured the surfboard and it is exactly 8'. Here is a photo of the replacement cover's fit.

Solid canvas bag. Shaped for fish or hybrid boards not a traditional short bord with pointed nose. I got the 6.0 and my 5.10 fish fits with room to spare,BTW it is 21.5 wide and there is plenty of room in width. Board bags have gotten really expensive and if it is on the top of your car or truck,exposed to the elements then it is MAYBE worth the money but this canvas bag will do the same thing that $100-150 bags will do and these won't turn into bags that look your dog used it as a chew toy, we have all seen them silver flakes flying.Ho Stevie is on to something here and as long as it is priced as it is,he has got it wired. Update: I have gotten 2 more of these, a 6.6 and another 6.0. The second 6.0 is for a hybrid 5x10x21.5x2.5 and it fits perfectly in the 6.0 bag. The 6.6 bag is for a 6x4x20.5x2.5 short board with pointed nose and even though the bag nose is a bit round it works fine with a more pointed board. The board fits perfectly in the 6.6 bag with room to spare. So no more moving multiple boards between a few bags and frankly at the price for these you get 3 or 4 bags for the price of one of the more traditional board bags. If you have a good size quiver, this is the way to go.

Purchased largest size. Perfectly fits my 7'8 x 21 x 2.9 (with extra bottom room) Thick canvas draw bag with sturdy stitching. Neutral colors are easy on the eyes. Plenty of room for my board, large size fins, XL beach towel & beach clothes. No issues with this transferring wax onto my seats.. Devils advocate opinion: I know it's a slip on cover but a shoulder sling/handles would be the cherry on top.

Strongly recommended. Much more durable and user-friendly than a surfboard sock (for just 5-6 dollars more in this case). Exceptional quality. I'll buy another of these for my 6' fish once I'm good enough to actually use that board. I bought the 8' version for a 7'7" soft-top hybrid (SBBC Elefante) - and it fits perfectly with room to spare. Could use it with the fins installed, but I like to pull the future fins after use so they don't get cemented into the board. Only suggestion would be a small "pocket" of some kind at some place in the cover. Great product.

This feels like a good quality cover, especially for the price. If you want something sturdier than a surfboard sock, but don’t want to shell out for the more expensive zip closure bags, this is an excellent value. Nice material, and the stitching looks like it will hold up well. I purchased the 7’6” for my 7’3” fish surfboard, and it fit it *exactly*. If the board was even an inch longer, or had a rounder nose, I would have needed to exchange for the 8’ cover. Hopefully, that helps someone trying to decide which size to get.

I got this for my fish. It fits great and the seams look solid. However, I was a little disappointed by the thickness of the material. The canvas is fairly thin (thinner than the denim on a pair of Carharrts), and I was expecting something a bit more heavy-duty. I have board socks that are made of thicker material than this. If you want something lighter than a travel bag but will still protect your board when you whack it against your door jamb, this may not be the droid that you're looking for.

Got the product a couple of days late, which is annoying....but after inspecting the bag, it was obvious that a few days delay will be insignificant relative to the expected life of this durable product. The canvas is robust and the stitching is good. Looking forward to using it for years...I would highly recommend the product.

This thing rocks. I've been in manufacturing most of my career and I can tell you......this thing is WAY under priced. I'd have paid double! Shhhhh....don't tell them! It's well built and yes I inspect stitching, etc. Can't help it...it's in my blood. Great craftsmanship, durable, priced right and most of all?!?! It's exactly what is needed and nothing more. Just a rad design kept simple and yet elegant. Well done!
