  • Worked great!
Size: 9" x 12"
The paper still held up well even after using a good amount of paint on it. It did warp the paper a little but over all is a good product ^-^

  • Great product for easy painting
Size: 9" x 12"
I bought this with the specific intention of painting using acrylics and cutting the paper to size to fit into existing frames. It is really easy to sketch on; also easy to erase. The paint goes on well and looks good. The paper is thick enough and the paint does not leak. If you use a bit more water, that area appears a bit indented on the back but the quality of paper remains and after it dries there is no difference. I use a brown board to support the paper while I am painting. You can sense the thickness of the paper when you cut it and it does not bend easily; I have some of my paintings hanging from a piece of twine between 2 push pins in the walls and held by wooden cloth pins. The quality and the ease of use is what is going to make me buy this again. ... show more

  • A great alternative to canvas!
Size: 16" x 20"
Love this paper!! Great for when I need to do big projects and drawings. I used India ink and it didnt bleed through, came out smooth and the ink didnt have issues with the texture. Gave a nice clean line with a brush. If you apply and reapply and keep adding wet mediums to it, I dont think it would hold up like canvas so keep that in mind. But a great alternative! It has a silky smooth and "plasticky" feel almost like its curved with something, so it definitely outperforms your typical heavyweight paper for watercolor or something. I could see this working with all types of mediums. ... show more

  • I’m hooked on this stuff
Size: 16" x 20"
Ive been using this canva-paper for years. I’m hooked and can’t get away from it. Sometimes I wish I didn’t use it: because to display it, you have to go through the matting/framing process, whereas a regular stretched canvas can go right up on the wall of you wish. (Although, I do simply tape mine to the wall before I get around to framing anything 😅) . Something about it has just right the texture, paper like but sturdy. I just can’t seem to get the same effects with actual canvas that I do with this stuff. ... show more

  • Love the texture it gives
Size: 16" x 20"
Very sturdy paper. It has a texture that I wanted to try. Also, it's easier to frame and has the look of canvas. Can't pass that up if your an artist.

  • Great way to practice or even do production art
Size: 16" x 20"
Given the choice of this paper vs a canvas, I'll take this almost every time because it's just much easier to store my finished works. Its difficult to feel the difference between this and canvas after both have been gesso'ed. I paint almost exclusively 16x20 and with oils. I use the wet on wet and this paper works terrific in those conditions. I have painted with Acrylics and I would recommend to gesso first. But, even without gesso, you can get solid results from acrylics. ... show more

Size: 16" x 20"
I am never without this "canvas" in my studio. I use just about everything out there from linen to kart paper and have tried most of the other canvas type pads as well. I like the texture/weave on this and the surface is just about right. I grade canvas (and gessos too) on whether they are "fast" or "slow" to paint on which mostly has to do with how absorbent the surface is. For me this surface is a good balance. Great for small studies or adhering to small masonite boards. Comparably affordable and a strong surface that can take a small amount of abuse as well. I have used it several years now and due to health reasons have had to change from turpentine to walnut oil and it seems to work just as well for both. ... show more
