When I saw this candle warmer I had no idea what it was, or what it did. When I got it in my hands, I still had only a guess as to it's purpose. When I actually got the candle warmer I still had no idea what it did, even after I read it's instruction sheet, I still had only an inkling. The instructions define minimal. They were basically no help. So, with some concerned worry, I set about putting through its paces. We really aren't candle people, but when I was a teenager in the late 60s I had enjoyed candles and their scents. I cast about looking for any kind of candle. I only found one, a father's day gift from my youngest son. I had lit it several times, but never left it burning for more than a few minutes. I plugged the candle warmer in, turned it on, and set the candle on the base while I cooked some bacon. About 10 minutes later, I noticed a pretty intense scent in the air, overpowering even the smell of cooking bacon. I finally realized I was smelling the scent of the candle like I had never smelled it before. I had plugged it in and turned it on and left it to cook bacon. The scent was almost overpowering! I started looking for a way to turn it down. I noticed plus and minus buttons on the controller. I tried them out. There were 3 levels, high or hot, medium and low. It started on medium heat from the high intensity light bulb, which turned out to be too high. When I turned it to low, the scent almost went away. While I was trying to figure it out, I accidentally held the minus button down. Instead of 3 levels, while holding the plus or minus button down the light started dimming or brightening continuously. That meant I could dial in any light level I wanted, not just max, medium and low. OK. So far, so good. There was a 4th button. When i put my glasses on, I realized the little symbol on the 4th button was a little clock icon. I played with it and learned the button cycled through 3 settings: 2, 4 and 6 hours. I set it for 2 hours, and sure enough it turned off unattended in 2 hours. Slick! In about 45 minutes I had learned several things: 1) my drab candle could produce an overpowering scent 2) the candle warmer works by heating and melting the wax 3) I had full control over how hot it got the wax and melted the wax got 4) I could automate the amount of time the candle warmer was on. I was impressed! The burner itself has a metal base and gooseneck metal bar rising up and holding the light. At the top of the gooseneck was the light socket, housed within a large pressed glass shade that focused the light and heat onto the candle. It comes with the bulb and a spare in separate little boxes, and everything well padded and protected. You have to screw in the light bulb. All metal parts are painted black. It's actually quite pretty, small, and unobtrusive. The scent produced from my old candle was intense enough to almost obliterate the smell of cooking bacon. That's quite strong. I learned to regulate the heat delivered to the candle to achieve any intensity of scent. I don't know yet how long the scent will last, but judging by the limited melting of the wax, probably a very long time! Nice! I'm very satisfied with this electric candle warmer. MUCH more than had expected. I think you will be as pleased as I am, and that this candle warmer will become a prized possession. It's a bit pricey, but it is well worth the cost. I highly recommend this candle warmer. I think it well worth every penny, and it produces a great range of scent intensities without any flame or smoke. Give it a try and I think you'll agree: This is a great product!

What a gorgeous candle warmer! I was looking for one that had a black base and a beautiful glass shade and this is exactly that! It matches my decor perfectly and looks very elegant. It is very well-made. It has some weight to it and doesn't feel cheap at all. It adds such great ambience to the room with its warm light and, of course, fills the house with the fragrance of whatever candle I am using. It's great for the holidays, to make your home smell like sugar cookies or pine trees or whatever you prefer. It would also make a wonderful gift! The only thing that makes it not perfect is that the height isn't adjustable. You won't be able to use very tall candles, but medium-sized candles and smaller fit just fine.

I have never owned a candle warmer before, but I wanted to try one as I love my scented candles, but I don't light them often enough as I worry about forgetting to blow them out - this warmer solves that problem. Although the design did not match my Décor as well as I had hoped, the functionality of this warmer made up for it. After putting in one of my favorite scented candles and turning on the lamp, the scent filled the room within minutes. I even had to turn it down after about 20 minutes as the scent became too strong (hence - I love the dimmer feature). Additionally, I was able to set the timer to 2 hours and then forget about it. When I came back to the room after a couple of hours, the nice aroma was still present, but the auto-off feature worked perfectly. I also love that it has 3 different timer settings. Overall - all of the settings are easy and intuitive to use. Couldn't be more happy with the functionality of this candle warmer.

First of all, I tend to buy one brand of candles and they are small…pint jar size. If I used taller candles like a Yankee candle, I’m not real sure that this warmer could accommodate that size candle. I’ve not tried a talker one so I can’t be positive. The warmer seems to be well made and so far I’ve had no issues with it. It does what it’s supposed to do. I think it’s pretty and the clear glass gives it an understated but classic look and I think will fit with most home decor styles. I have several candle warmers and love them all. So much safer than burning a candle the traditional way! I think almost anyone would be happy with this style…whether for yourself or to give as a gift. My college age granddaughter is not allowed to burn candles in her dorm, but candle warmers are approved, so even younger people love these!

The craftsmanship and quality make this lamp worth every single penny. It also comes very nicely and carefully packaged in a pretty box with a flower design on it. I was very excited to get this lamp because I liked the flat base and the big glass shade. The lamp works well with each light/heat level and the remote is better quality than some others that I've used. Timer function of 2/4/8 hrs works well also. The height of this lamp is not adjustable, so you have to use shorter candles with it. Unfortunately, the base is not connected well at all on the lamp I received, so the lamp leans forward and when there isn't something weighing it down, it has plopped forward because the glass shade is so heavy. Because of this, I don't feel comfortable using this lamp as I would hate to find wax spilled everywhere if it fell over. It didn't look like there was a way to tighten the base any more either. The free coaster was a nice touch and I know what they are trying to say on it, but it's jibber jabber in English.
