The adjustable height of the warmer worked well. The timer and auto-shutoff worked as expected. The lamp brightness is adjustable. I would warn that the light/warmer gets very hot. This should be prominent in the decision for placement.

What I love the most about this lamp is that I can use the timer and adjust the light intensity, which makes it super practical and safe. I placed a watermelon-scented candle and the red glow it gives off looks absolutely beautiful in the room, creating a cozy atmosphere. The fact that it comes with two bulbs is a big plus, because I know it will last much longer without having to worry about replacements right away. Tip: if you feel the scent is not strong enough, just scrape off the top layer of wax and the fragrance will spread much better. Best candle warmer. This has every feature...timer, adjustable brightness, different heights. It looks cute and really is neat when you light it up. I bought it for my teenage daughter who I wouldn't trust with a flame. This is a perfect gift for a child/teen who wants candles but you don't want to risk having an open flame. My teenage loves it!
