I looked high and low on Amazon for the perfect candle lamp and this is it. The glass looks more high end than the plastic or metal shades and I'm more comfortable with it getting hot since it won't crack or bleed paint or seep out plastic/paint fumes. This lamp fits with any aesthetic and is the best looking one on Amazon, IMO. In terms of functionality, I haven't come across any issues. I've been using it for at least 5 hrs each day as it's my main light source in my room at night. I could easily just use this as my only light while dual-purposing wax melting. I love that I can put the timer on and get into bed without having to get up to turn the lamp off. Even the box for the lamp is pretty and the inside packaging is great as there's styrofoam designed to keep the glass/lamp safe when storing away. I love the height adjustment and big enough plate to accommodate every candle I use. I don't have to wait long for the bulb to cool either. I can burn 2 hours or 4 hours then wait maybe 10? minutes and redo the timer. This would also make a great gift. I think the only negative would be the cord length. But, you can easily get around that with an extension cord. Customer service is also stellar. Good company. ... show more

I use this over burning candles primarily now. Fits most sized candles, looks chic and melts the candles down evenly, and I can still smell the candle around the house. The timer function is also chef's kiss. I wish I could have one of these in each room!

I own several brands of candle warmers. This particular black one is nice in the small powder room. It produces enough scent to fill the powder room with a pleasant fragrance and creates a nice ambiance with the light on. In the kitchen I use different more powerful candle warmers that produce more fragrance. The remote control works fine and you can adjust the height of the lamp shade.
