These skates are not only gorgeous but they feel very sturdy. They were stiff out of the box but felt comfortable and like they were already molding to my feet when I put them on the next day. The wheels are great for indoor and outdoor skating as well. I'm a beginner adult skater and I've practiced at home on carpet and at a rink. If you don't want to break the bank and you want a skate with good ankle support and style, I'd recommend these. They don't have a lot of inside padding, but I don't feel like it's something that I need. I am just a beginner and only skate once a week-ish. However for me I really liked them. The color is beautiful, I got the all teal ones. I did order a little tool because the wheels comes bit tight. Get the size you normally wear is the best advice I have for you! I have wide feet and was nervous to commit to the size, because of course you don’t want your skates to be too big. So I ordered what I wear in tennis shoes and hoped for the best. They were pretty uncomfortable and tight when I first got them. Hardly wanted to wear them, until they finally broke in! It took quite a while for me cause I don’t skate THAT much. (So break in time will be different for everyone. But I’d say about 8-10 hours of wear to break them in) Now that I’ve done that they fit so perfectly!!! I’m so so so happy I didn’t go bigger! I use them for rinks and outdoor. I wear a 7.5 so I originally got the 8 but had to return, they were to tight. The toe box is very narrow. I got a 9 and they fit perfect. I plan to use them outdoors with my dog so toe expansion is critical. Makes no sense for most skates to have this design. I'm not a super serious skater, but I've used these at the rink several times, the park twice, and in my living room a bit. I've had them for almost a year now, and I love them! Everyone complains about how much it hurts to break in new skates, but these have never hurt my feet. I did swap out the wheels to pink ones because I already had them, so I can't say anything about the quality of the wheels, but the skates themselves are comfortable, true to size, and have held up well over the past year. At this price, an experienced skater might not be too impressed by them, but for a beginner who doesn't want to spend allll their money on a pair of skates, these are awesome! Couldn’t wait for them to arrive… BUT, I don’t know what happened. I wear a size 9 and have had a few size 9 skates that fit perfectly and this one felt like it was chopping off my big toe. Had to return it😞
