Love these! They are great quality and reasonably priced. I'm a beginner and these definitely meet my needs and expectations. I wear a women's 8.5 and a men's 8 was the right fit for me. I agree with other reviews that they are stiff at first and I got blisters in the inside of my ankles the first go round, but it's an easy fix. I made a mistake and didn't break them in first. After some research on YouTube & Google I got this shoe stretch spray by Foot Matters on Amazon($8). I sprayed it all over, (inside & out) tied them up tight & wore them for a bit so they could soften and fit my foot mold. That along with a few minutes of hot blowdrying will loosen & shape them right up! Don't forget the thick performance socks and then you're good to go! Perfect quality state! ... show more

I really enjoy these skates so far. They are not overly padded like the impalas or other brands that I've seen- and I prefer that. The upper is reinforced and very stiff out of the box so they will definitely take some breaking in time. Due to this for rink skating I laced it up halfway to comfortably turn. These are much more suited for skinnier feet because the toe box is quite narrow. Overall I think this is a high quality skate, and I'm very glad the carlins finally came in all black! ... show more

Overall look like a great value from first glance, will update my review when I get a chance to use them. I am a women’s 7.5/8 shoe I got the all black pair in 6 for size reference. There is enough room to get a thicker sock, or change the insole out too. Knocked a star for them being super stiff, they will need breaking in and softening of the suede. The width is good however due to them being so stiff they will certainly cause some blistering on the sides of your feet. Got these instead of spending a ton on more expensive brands as I preferred suede. ... show more

I love these skates. They were a bit stiff and narrow at first so they definitely need to be broken in. Took me about 6 or 7 sessions to feel totally comfortable. I love that they are leather. It makes them flexible and more durable than vinyl. The bearings are enclosed which is nice. The toe stops are wearing out quicker than I wanted them to, but that's an easy replacement. I love these!!! I’m still learning how to skate, so I’m taking the falls, lol! But these fit perfect, are amazing quality, well put together (no loose bolts or unrolling wheels), and m, as you can see, are absolutely beautiful!! I will be ordering more of this brand! Got my eye on the black ones!

They are comfortable, inside should have been more softer/ cushions The wheels are great for out doors, the tiles, they go over cracks and uneven roads smoothly, still have to break in. Wear your shoe size. I love the boot. The lacings are too thin or flat. The tongue of the boots interior should be firmer, with more cushions to stay in place. ... show more
