Lots of people don't know that the galley (cafeteria) in boot camp of ALL BRANCHES in the military all have a fixed block of time when food is served. It doesn't matter if the facility has to serve 400 or 5000 recruits, the time block is fixed and it won't be changed. Ask anyone who served or who has a family member, the system is designed to weaken human well-being, at least in terms of nutrition. It's great for those recruits who habitually over-indulge but for the majority, there is never enough time or food. So, be an angel to a recruit and mail them a case of soup. Typically, the class will muster (line up for attendance and instructions), then march over to the galley, then stand in line for the other class to move through, then they get served the food. Total expected time from muster to end of meal is maybe 45 minutes of which 30 are used for muster/transit/line up/serving/seating. Your recruit will have 5-10 minutes to eat. All uneaten food goes in the trash and it's TONS each day. Oh, and SILENCE, LOOK DOWN AT YOUR PLATE, GET UP AND MUSTER AGAIN when you're told. Repeat three times a day for 10-12 weeks. You cannot imagine how grateful our young men and women will be to have food available at the end of the workday. The best thing is that Amazon allows you to register the facility and barracks location to make sure the goods arrive but have your recruit give your the exact details. This is Campbells slow cooked soup. This beef with vegetables is very good and easy to put the soup in the microwave to heat and eat. It is very good. You most likely will be able to heat it at your work place.

This microwaveable version tastes a bit different than the canned soup. There was a slightly sour element that I couldn't quite put my finger on, but I will buy again, simply because it's so convenient and the taste was not terrible.
