  • One board quiver killer pow slayer
Size: 156 cm
Bought this board for my son who just got into snowboarding. Took him out on a sloppy pow day 8 inches of wet heavy untracked snow with a thin crusty layer of ice on top. A day that sends most tomahawking down the mountain. He has very little experience riding pow much less the challenging conditions we had that day which was even a little challenger for my rockered pow board. being that is a twin tip with bindings mounted with a centered stance I wasn't sure he was even going to make it down the mountain but to my surprise he just flew down the mountain ripping big carving turns floating effortlessly on top of that crust crap hooting and hollering all the way. his best day snowboarding ever.(he was hooked on pow which by my book was sludge) I was so impressed I bought one for myself and love it. Since then we have had a chance to ride it in 18" of untracked pow and it floats effortlessly carries great speed carves sweet turns and pops off of things with ease and so balanced. So much fun to ride this board. If I could only take one board on a trip out west with promise of deep pow this is my pick. ... show more

  • After 2 weeks of riding not bad read entire review
Size: 158 cm Wide
This board is fine for a beginner to intermediate riders. I’ve rode this board hard for two weeks in the Pocanoes and Colorado doing trees, rails and jumps. I don’t recommend buying the kits as I’ve seen Camp 7 bindings break with light use. If you buy this board get some decent bindings and nice boots. I personally use this board with the system rear entry bindings and burton boots ~ $600 for the whole setup. If you are buying this as a first board/setup buy good boots because even if you hate snowboarding you can still wear the boots as winter boots and then you are just out the bindings and board for $300. The board will be nothing spectacular but gets you on the mountain at low cost. ... show more

  • Solid so far
Size: 156 cm
I have mainly ridden burton ltr, head rentals, burton 5150 and a jones occasionally, besides the $600 jones this blows the others out. For me, it has been funnier and more agile to ride than the Jones and i didnt lose control nearly as much. The board doesn't catch an edge and is way easier to transition in and out of than the burtons. It does ride quite a bit faster than any of those other boards mentioned. The stainless edge i assume is only 1 degree because it doesn't bite as hard as the others when coming to a stop. The board feels rather flexible but holds up extremely well and golds and edge even on pure ice and rough terrain. It handled the terrain parks well enough for me (i jist hit little jumps about 2 to 3' in height, small rails and plastic tops. The only thing that I have noticed so far is the the edges do develop a tad bit of rust on them after it sits over night so I'm not exactly sure what grade of stainless was used. If you are like me and wanting to buy a board to keep from having to borrow or rent one this is a great budget board that will pay itself off after one season. I ordered the camp 7 bindings but if you're a more serious rider I'd recommend upgrading them. ... show more
