My only complaint is how hard the lock feature is to twist. It's so hard that I don't even bother. I don't lock it while cycling etc and it is fine. You would want to lock it if you put it in a backpack so it isn't accidentally squeezed, so this wouldn't be ideal for hiking. If you have kids under 11, forget it as well. They won't be able to unlock it. It really is that stiff. I struggle as a 34 year old male who works out a fair amount. If you don't need the lock feature, it's great. ... show more

I bought two of these bottles when they were on sale for Amazon Prime Day. They're well worth the extra few dollars over the cheap bottles found here on Amazon. The CamelBak insulates your drink keeping it colder for longer, is easier to squeeze, and the leak proof design is easy to clean.

It really does seem to keep the water or sports drink cooler longer. Nothing is 100% in our Arizona heat, but this is much better than a standard water bottle.
