I like the old version better but these are good too. The straws are bigger than the old ones so you can’t mix and match pieces. I have 9 of the old ones. My 3 kids use these everyday (one in backpack for classroom, one in lunchbox and one for home) I just purchased these to replace a few of the old ones and was a little sad that they are not the same. Buy this water bottle now. It does not leak and it’s easy to clean. The only part that that isn’t great is that the straw requires pressure to let fluids through so now when my daughter has regular straws she bites them and chews them up.

I've now bought this water bottle twice. My 5 year old lost the first one after a week or two. So I bought the same one again - she loves the design and the size is perfect for her. Plus the leak-proof promise seems to hold up, which is a must for school. However she's been using the second one now for about a week, and the mouthpiece is already ripped. This may just be because she's 5 and has been messing with it - admittedly, the Camelbak design (where you have to bite the straw to drink) is probably not ideal for young kids who aren't used to it? She did figure it out easily enough, but I'm willing to admit it might be her fault that the mouthpiece is ripping. Still, it's kind of annoying - a water bottle this small covered with pink unicorns should be able to withstand a 5 year old girl for more than a week. Just something to consider! ... show more

Really pretty, my toddler loves her camelbak water bottles, she has two. This one and a metal one which helps with keeping drinks cool for longer but she likes to throw it and has had a few casualties so we opted for a plastic one.
