What differentiates this calendar from others is that (1) it has a double sided clear pocket for stashing any important receipts or other information , (2) on the weekly pages, there is the same space for Saturday and Sunday as the weekdays (other calendars split Saturday and Sunday and give you half the space to write on), (3) on the weekly pages, they have a spot for "Notes", which I find very useful, and (4) they have included at the back two pages entitled "Future Planning" for 2004 with space for writing down events or notes for each month in 2004 (this is fabulous -- as I've been making my own areas in other calendars under the blank "note" pages. I love these planners and buy them every single year. I like that they are yearly planners and not school year planners (cute yearly planners are hard to find). They’re adorable with various pretty covers and the pages themselves are beautiful. There’s no so much room to write stuff down for every single day of the year. They hold up for the entire year as well - and I’m pretty rough on mine as it travels with me everywhere. I love the insides of this planner - it has pretty much everything I'd want. I had a different one previously that had a couple lines under each day for notes and I've been missing that, but I just use the 7am time frame for that since I'm not a morning person. The outside however is a problem. All of the edges started to show wear almost immediately, but now going into July you can see that it's looking extremely shabby, to the point where I'm considering getting something else to finish up the year with (which I would really rather not do). The cover also has a weird texture that initially gave me the creeps when I would touch it. I think that's gotten better over time, or maybe I've just gotten used to it. The soft finish imprints really easily though and will show fingerprints and scratches. I would LOVE to get a version of this same planner with a totally different material for the cover. As it is, I think I will be looking for something else for next year and maybe for the remainder of this year, unfortunately. ... show more

It doesn’t appear that any of the 2023 ones come with the pocket folder. At least mine didn’t. Regardless - these are my go to planners every year!

I have used this type of planner for years and prefer the horizontal week layout. While I would like an internal plastic pocket, the customizable cover works as a substitute. I have not had any problems with past planners (same brand & format) ordered on Amazon. However, this edition (Bali '23, listed as new unused) arrived somewhat damaged (some pages marred) with a VERY scratched cover. If I had paid full price for the item, or needed to present a "polished" look, I would be returning it. ... show more

Somewhat heavy for us older folks to manipulate, but love all the writing space for each day; the calendar pages are good for coming events or bill dates.

For those of us who still like a paper calendar, I find this one to be the best. Plenty of room for a list on busy day. If you want to add notes about your day or at the end of the week, room for that too. I like the full calendar at the beginning of each month as well so I can see at a glance where holidays fall.
