We love using this oatmilk in our coffee, but we really love the versatility to us it when baking or cooking! It is delicious and creamy in our homemade mac and cheese. It adds perfect flavor in any baking calling for milk. Very versatile!

    • Fabulous, but having quality control problems
I’ve been buying this oat milk 4 cases at a time for years. From Amazon. And it’s been fabulous, truly the best oat milk out there for getting micro foam on my espresso machine, but also the creamiest nut milk I know. I like it more than Oatly and it performs better for coffee as well. But, earlier this year I got a 4 case batch that was horrible. I knew it instantly, before tasting — just from the smell. Taste confirmed. It was like all of the sudden it went from that expertly luscious liquid I’d drank every day was now being made by some guy with oats and a blender. It was way too oaty, texture was off, balance was wrong. I cracked the other cases and found they all had the same problem. Good news is I wrote the company and told them what I had and they shipped four new cases immediately, no problem. Perfect customer service. They said what I’d received wasn’t right and so they fixed it. But looking at recent reviews here I see the problems continue for others. And if you hadn’t had the product before you wouldn’t know it should be better. I should also note that one carton from my replacements was really off, full of chunky something. It was one carton out of 24 — and the rest were back to normal goodness — but it was disappointing nonetheless. So, I’m hanging back for a bit, buying oatly to tide me over until this clears up. I have confidence Califia will fix it up, but don’t want to have to deal with another bad batch. If you get one, let the company know and they’ll fix it. I’m giving them five stars because they earned that with years of excellence. But if this doesn’t clear up soon I’ll come back and adjust down. ... show more

    • I love the taste
It has this oaty chalky taste that I just can’t get enough of. It’s not necessarily creamy but I don’t think It was ever branded as such anyways. It is branded as specialty milk to be fair.

    • Best tasting
I’ve tried a lot of oat milk and this one tastes best to make coffee. It’s a barista blend so it foams well. It doesn’t have the powdery, starchy mouth feel like some brands. Very creamy and has good oat flavor, not overpowering so it’s good with coffee and matcha. It has subtle sweetness to it so that’s a nice plus for me. I even use it as a substitution for cereal or oatmeal sometimes when I’m without milk. Cons is I notice sometimes it curdles in hot coffee if I add it straight up without steaming. Leaving it out too long and it will clump into this gooey chunks on the bottom. This oat milk seems to have more fat content than some other brands too if you’re watching out for that this might not be ideal. I have been using this milk regularly using subscribe and save. I notice that the price can fluctuate a bit but the price still better than buying singles from the market. ... show more

I used to work at Starbucks back when soy milk was the only alternative milk option….so it’s been awhile. But I was a devout soy milk lover. Then I tried their Iced brown sugar oatmilk Shaken espresso and fell in love! So I began the hunt for my new oatmilk obsession. This oatmilk is amazing. It’s thicker than almond milk but thinner than soy milk. I also have a frother and this milk froths up so well! So I can make cappuccinos and lattes as foamy as I want! It works amazing with hot and cold coffee drinks. Pro tip: Starbucks will let you buy most of their syrups if they have them in stock. So if you have a coffee machine with an espresso setting, you can literally make Starbucks at home. I make the brown sugar oatmilk drink at home with the Starbucks syrup, espresso and this milk and it tastes almost the exact same! ... show more
