    • Overall I'm happy with it. The pros definitely outway the cons!
This is a really nice backpack. It really does seem to be smell proof! It has a lot of storage compartments so your items are secure and bouncing all around. There are straps near the bottom on both sides that allow you to adjust how thick/loose hanging the bottom of the bag is, which helps keep items secure in place and seems like it also helps with the ergonomics. The extra padding at the top on the back are really comfortable. A couple critiques: I find the double zipper to be a bit cumbersome but it's still pretty new so hopefully with use they'll be less stiff and easier to open and close. The lock works but I do question how secure it really is, haven't tested that and it's a deterrent regardless. I did expect the laptop/tablet slip pocket to have a little padding on the interior side but it doesn't. I can't really speak to durability because it's still pretty new but I will say there's nothing about it so far that makes me question it. ... show more

    • LOVE Love Love My Bag, Couple Things Could Be Changed But Great Purchase Overall

I was skeptical of getting this bag because it was a little bigger than what I needed. However, I went ahead and ordered it, and looking back, and I'm glad I did. Along with the smell proof part, another useful feature is the ability to make it skinny or fat with the strap system on the sides. So you can have it thin for a laptop or something like that, then if you needed to loosen the straps for a few changes of clothes while traveling, you could do that as well. The only thing I didn't care for is the inner zipper is somewhat hard to get in its place for the overlapping zipper to cross over without having to piddle with it. Once you get that part down, you can typically work it reasonably comfortably, but it does take some time to get used to it. They used great material and a significant amount of padding for your shoulders. It could also use a couple more inside pockets or even a concealed carry pocket that people couldn't easily find if they were to get in it without your knowledge. The bag also features a combination lock with resettable code for that extra layer of security that will be appreciated by many. Overall it's a great bag/backpack for the money, really well constructed. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a smell proof bag.I'm happy with mine.     • Decent backpack, but zipper lock doesn't work.

The backpack has a nice design. It's a comfortable and reasonably sized backpack. I really like it other then the lock doesn't actually lock. The locking mechanism has some play with the button that opens it and the zippers can be taken out. The lock is more of a deterrent to someone looking through the bag, if they wanted to get in it would not be a challenge. Other then that the backpack is decent.     • Roomy, durable, smell proof
I like that this backpack has the space I need. The double zipper design for the large portion of the backpack is amazing for keeping the loudest music quiet, so there won't be any noise complaints from your neighbors ;) My only gripe so far in the few months I've been using this backpack is: the smaller front pouch zipper is hard to open and close due to the design. I have to make sure to push the whole pocket up under the lip to make sure zippers will meet and glide smoother. The issue is mainly around curves, but even on the straightaways it struggles and hitches. This hinders my [frequent] use of the front pocket, I try to only open it part way so there's less to zip back up. Obviously it wasn't enough to remind me that, oh yea, I can return this and keep shopping for the perfect backpack....but I missed that train cuz loud music can lead to hearing loss [nudge nudge, wink wink] I should add that the larger portion, [remember, the part with the double zipper?] zips with ease. ... show more

All the reviews that say this bag is cheap, or it’s not smell proof, or they don’t like the color… that’s all rubbish. This is the best smell proof bag I have purchased and I got it 3 months ago. This bag is awesome all the way around with look and design aslo pretty durable except the zippers. Started falling off within a year. Everything else with the bag is still perfect except that. And that being said if your bag has no zippers what's the point of the bag.

This is an excellent backpack. It arrived quickly and just as advertised. The backpack is stylish, comfortable, and most importantly it really does seal in the smell! The locking feature - a combination lock that offers added privacy, protection and security for sensitive cargo - is really cool and works well. Now here's the part that really stands out! After 2 months of normal use, I began to have some trouble with two of the zipper closures. Knowing Cali Crusher to be a modern company with well-made products, I decided to reach out even though it was beyond the refund/ warranty date. Perhaps this was an isolated problem with just my backpack. This company BLEW ME AWAY with the BEST online customer-service I have ever received. They responded directly and personally in a matter of hours, replying to emails on the weekend and even after business hours! They stand by their product, and after I sent pictures and a description of the issue I was having, Cali Crusher sent out a replacement backpack at no additional cost that I received in only 2 days. So this is an awesome backpack. The lock is a nice feature and has held up well over ~6 months of heavy use. It does provide good reduction of smells. I have to take off 1 star because there is a way to open the bag even with it locked and make it appear as though it was never opened. I'm obviously not going to say how. The double zipper makes it somewhat more of a deterent, but still there is is way. Also, I think the activated carbon actually negatively effects the quality of certain items. I don't have any scientific proof of this just a theory. ... show more
