It helped me make my first ever cake. And honestly probably last because it was so much work lol but for the money this set was a great value. It had a bunch of pieces but I just wish that it explained what a lot of them were used for considering this was my first time making a cake and I had no idea what I was doing. Overall it was a great set and helped me get the cake done the best I could do. It’s not to a professional level but I’ll take it for my first time and even if it doesn’t look the best at least it tasted great. Oh also I LOVED the cake stand, it made it SO much easier to frost the cake.

I’m a retired pastry chef and was looking for some simple cake decorating tools as I had given most of mine away when I retired. This set is amazing! Everything necessary to decorate a cake is included in the kit and there’s a wide variety of decorating tips to choose from. Lastly, the price was very reasonable! Highly recommend!

If you are starting cake decorating this is a good set. With the exception of the numbered icing tips the pieces are fairly good quality. The russian tips look like the ones i use. I have never used Korean Bobbi Skirt Icing Tips so I can't speak to their quality. I think the disposable icing bags are also lower quality. But as I said its a good quality set. The other tools are good quality. They aren't top of the line but to start out they are good quality.

This is a good product for the price for beginners. I purchased this as my 11yo niece asked me to help her start making decorative cakes and treats. I just wish it had come with a case to store all of the smaller pieces but I went to walmart and bought a plastic toolbox type of container for about $10 to keep it all together. All in all we have used it several times and its been awesome!

I have been wanting to learn to make and decorate my own cakes and this product has been so much fun to use and learn with! I've seen mixed reviews about the quality but it has worked great for me! Eventually I'll upgrade some of the items. I've been impressed by what I can do with the icing. The metal tips are pretty amazing in the set. Even though the turntable is cheap - I have found it very helpful and fun! My fiancé's daughter who worked in a bakery was even using the set to make a birthday cake!

I am a beginner baker, and this product is ok and gets the job done. However, the materials are mostly flimsy plastic and the turntable does not turn as good. This will do though, if you are still learning like me. Also the cake cutter makes it very difficult to cut cake as the handle is so thin that my hand cannot fully grasp it and apply needed pressure to cut the cake. Maybe make the handle a little wider so that one can have a good grip on it... overall good, though. I would recommend it to beginners like me...
