This is spread is very, very sweet, and you can also overwhelmingly feel the texture of the fats used to make it (it has a kind of thick greasy mouthfeel). But the flavors of chocolate and caramel are very subtle. I am a huge fan of Cadbury chocolate bars (very unique chocolate taste) and also of their caramel-filled candies (strong and rich caramelly taste). I didn't get any of those flavors in this spread. If you are into subtle tastes, maybe you'll like this. I would have preferred less sugar and more chocolate/caramel notes. ... show more

Chocolate, as well all know, is life. Chocolate paired with caramel is close to godliness, and in these trying times or hell if it's just a Wednesday and you're feeling peckish, you should not deny yourself one of the best things that's ever been made into a spread. This is beautiful by the spoonful, on fruit, over ice cream, but buckle up. Spreading this over toast and letting it melt into a gooey, delicious puddle atop your bread will change your life forever. Someone had mentioned this product on Facebook so I searched and found it on Amazon, of course. Though I typically wouldn't pay so much for a small jar of scrumptious calories, I just HAD to try it. And while I was at it, with Easter approaching, I bought a second jar to give my favorite son in law who also has a big sweet tooth. Luckily, my husband isn't as much into sweets, so I can claim this jar all to myself. So if I choose to grab it, and cut up an apple and dunk them right into the jar while I watch tv, nobody gets made at me. This product arrived to me from England 10 days after it was ordered (2 weeks BEFORE expected). It was wrapped with the utmost care and was in perfect condition!! I shared this rich creamy treat with many co workers who used it simply to dip pretzel rods into for a snack (or a simple teaspoon if you're really desperate). My wife loves caramel flavored treats. I randomly saw this spread while on Amazon. I decided we had to try it (I enjoy all Cadbury items I've tried in the past).! This arrived and I had about one spoon full, it was great! I made my wife a piece of toast with some of this on it. She loved it too! The next time I went to get some more, the jar was gone! A bit pricey for regular consumption but the flavor is amazing. The Cadbury Crunchie spread is to die for as well. One thing I've noticed regarding food products from Europe is that they are usually free of all the preservative junk that's in American food stuffs. which is a good thing. these are also packaged in glass so if your concerned about the chemicals in the plastic jars like american food then this is not a concern with these products. This could be the new NUTELLA. WAY easier to spread and the flavor is better as well. Definitely a must try and repeatedly buy. ... show more

This doesn’t taste terrible, but it’s not the swirl of caramel in chocolate that I expected. It’s basically a chocolate flavored spread swirled with a caramel flavored spread (emphasis on the “flavored”) It’s not actually swirled with real caramel.
