This was a real value for the money. They were very comfortable and sturdy. They also felt like good quality skates, which was a surprise considering their low cost. They didn’t feel as though they would be great for beginners, however, because the wheels were much faster than wheels on roller rink skates I am more accustomed to using. This also could be a response to being in mid fifties and not having skated for approximately 5 years! The wheels started moving without my pushing off at all and were faster than indoor skates. The toe stop was great when I did fall as it was nice and wide and naturally seemed to grab where it needed to in order to stop my forward progress.
