These are comfortable and sturdy. I am new at rollerskating so I chose this pair to begin that skate-life. The fit is perfect - the length and width surround my feet closely but not constricting - the wheels are aligned straight, the leather is soft but strong, the color isn't washed out and all the moving parts appear to be new. I purchased these because I had some just like them as a kid. They feel pretty good except for the wheels. I recommend ordering better wheels. Overall good skate for some flashback nostalgia.

These will absolutely serve you as a pair of skates to learn on. I’ve used em consistently for a month or so and they still feel secure. I don’t think they’d hold up well to the wear and tear of skating competitively but if you’re just starting out this is an excellent investment.
