They didn’t feel as though they would be great for beginners, however, because the wheels were much faster than wheels on roller rink skates I am more accustomed to using. These skates are really cute. My granddaughter loved the color mint. They seem durable and perfect for recreational use. She was able to wear them to her indoor rink birthday party right out of the box and she had no problem with their performance and said they were comfortable. They are comfortable and they skate well. Her biggest complaint is that the tongue of the skate doesn't stay up and is falling sideways making it slightly uncomfortable around her shin. They fit true to size.

I bought these skates after having been to a roller rink for the first time in a LONG time and remembering how questionable the skate rentals were. These are SO much lighter compared to rental skates, and fit very comfortably. After using then for a few hours, I was still happy to be wearing them!
