I usually wear an 8 to 8 1/2 in shoes as an adult female, and ordered a size 10. After the skates are laced, they fit me perfectly. The “fabric” at the toes has been damaged just from hitting the sides of curbs. These are by no means quality skates, but are good for beginners. Looks really good, not true to size. I'm usually a 9.5 or a 10, I ordered a 10 to be safe. These skates are so snug, feel like toes are balled up. I'm returning them for a larger size
