The media could not be loaded. Thought this mirror looked cool. Having speakers and WiFi time and weather appealed to me…..BUT…. This device only will connect to 2.4GHz network… Who still has this? So needless to say these cool features that I purchased the mirror for are inoperable because it’s not able to connect to my house network. The Bluetooth speakers do work but still not happy UPDATE....I'm HAPPY. My mirror's Bluetooth spontaneously stopped working and no longer was username by my phone. After some communications with the company they sent me a new replacement mirror. The sound still could be better but the customer service I received was 5-star Thanks you

Overall I satisfied with my purchase. It looks nice on the wall, has really good lightning. The quality of speakers is not good, however little bit better that cellphone can play in the bathroom :) Only issue I had and spent a lot of time configuring is WiFi connection. I tried to connect a lot of times using the application which is mentioned in the video attached to the product page. I was getting error on my connection tries. I tried that a lot of times, spent a lot of time. Instruction was telling that I should move the mirror close to a wifi point to have better signal and it might be because of quality of the signal. Also I tried Scan AR mode, which is kinda manual mode for configuration. But had no luck. Until I started to search internet and youtube for solutions(I was about to return the mirror back to the seller). Then I figured out that one guy was using different Application on his phone to configure the same mirror. Application name is WiFiClock for Iphone. When I downloaded it, it connected my mirror immediately to the internet. Problem solved

The first mirror my contractor bought arrived shattered. The second, which I ordered, simply refuses to connect and is out of the refund window. After setting up a brand new network that’s 2.4GHz only for this mirror, I’ve tried both modes (“scan” and “ap”) and in no case does it work. To add insult to injury, you can’t turn on the light around the mirror without the app. So that’s where we are: a mirror that’s supposed to have a lights that don’t work without an app. Oh and the app, which is mostly Engrish, is by a developer called “Adsmart” and refuses to work unless you grant it every permission under the sun to make sure they can target you. Going to ask Amazon for a refund with proof of it being destroyed so that I can have a working mirror.

So it came earlier than expected. It's not a heavy unit at all but I'll still add studs since the wall behind is accessible. The standard wall anchors provided would be fine. For some reason they provided 5 of them. The one tiny complaint is that no wall template was provided although it is suppose to be included. Made my own out of cardboard making sure it was square. The slots that the mounting screws slide into are quite deep so make sure you account for that when hanging this mirror otherwise it will come out a few cm low. Before mounting though I made sure it worked. Bluetooth pairing was easy. Speakers actually worked better than expected but my expectations were low. Pleasantly surprised. Installed the WiseMirror app (Android) and changed my phone to 2.4gHz network which you have to do otherwise it won't connect to Wi-Fi. It's just a matter of using the network password and following on screen instructions. Takes less than a minute to connect. JUST MAKE SURE PHONE IS ON 2.4 NETWORK OTHERWISE YOU CANNOT CONNECT MIRROR TO NETWORK. The Wi-Fi connection really only give you temp, humidity etc. so It's not a requirement but you might have the word scan repeating on screen. Oh, you last thing as far as power I just cut a hole in the wall behind mirror and plugged it in to outlet conveniently located right on the other side. It's a grounded plug.

Installing the mirror was made more difficult because the mounting template was not included (contrary to the installation manual). That aside, I made my own and was able to get it centered and level. The really disappointing feature is that it has to be plugged in - it can't really be hard wired to a light switch. I mean - you could, but it wouldn't turn on with the switch. There isn't a single photo of the mirror in the description that shows a cord.
