This screen tape saved our summer. We recently purchased a new (to us) home with a screened patio; however, tears and gaps in the screen were letting in all sorts of little creatures and critters. Rescreening isn't possible yet so we bought two rolls of this tape and it's truly is saving summer. It holds up well against extreme heat and heavy rain and is a super easy solution to fixing damaged areas of screen. The "patch" only needs applied to one side. Just cut a piece to fit, peel off the backing, stick it on, and you're done. It covers holes and even covered gaps at the bottom where the screen had ripped away from the spline. The tape stuck to both the aluminum frame and the screen to form a tight, "no entry here" bond. The only downside is that the patchwork is noticeable; however, it does appear to fade a bit after it's been applied for a while and is not as noticeable. 10 out of 10 - this screen repair tape works great.

I bought this window screen repair tape for $9 to fix some holes in my 20-year-old deck screen door. I didn’t want to replace the entire screen and was looking for a quick and simple fix. The tape was very easy to use—the sticky side is strong and adheres well to the screen material. It covered the holes perfectly, and after a month of hot summer sun and heavy rain, the repair has held up remarkably well. My only complaint is that the patch is quite visible on the screen, so it doesn’t blend in seamlessly. Still, for the price and ease of use, it’s a solid solution for minor screen repairs.

It does the job, but don't count on it staying on indefinitely. I wasn't thrilled with the fact that it's essentially a piece of tape with some screen attached. If you apply it to a window screen, definitely do the sticky side facing inside or you'll find it covered in dirt/dust sooner than later. All in all, it's not a bad product, but I don't know that I'll be trying it again when my roll runs out. If you're looking to just fill a small gap here and there, it might be perfect for you if you stick it on from the outside and keep the sticky side facing towards the interior of the house. It's significantly stickier than I expected, I wasn't able to remove my soiled patch easily, and it seems pretty durable.

Great product. The adhesive is very strong. I had such a tear in my screen and literally created a screen until I can get it replaced. This screen tape has held up through a few storms and windy conditions. I really almost forgot it was there. I did ruin a pair of scissors due to adhesive. Use something else to cut the screen. Good value and amount.
