Had no issues with the lid as others noted in reviews. Very beautiful! Bought this for myself for when that time will eventually come and didn't want my family to worry about finding something for me. Price was definitely a big factor for me!

I really like the urn. My sister loved butterflies and I thought this would be something she would appreciate. Unfortunately for me I did not take it out of the box immediately after I purchased it. 2 months later I took it out of the box tried to open it as we're placing my sister in a graveyard in a week and I cannot get the lid off. I am very disappointed. I'm disappointed in myself because I didn't take the urn out and check the lid but I really didn't think I would need to. Lesson learned. Guess I'll try some WD-40
