    • Nice... but stake holes a bit off

I just put these on a 2005 Ram 1500 and the fit is perfect, but the stake holes are about a quarter inch off. Stake pockets are still functional but Bull-ring anchors that I have don't quite cover hole. If you are any good at trimming plastic with a Dremel tool or router I would suggest getting caps without stake holes and trimming yourself. Still they look great. Installation was easy, only problem I had was the temperature. The 3M tape should be between 60 and 100 degrees for best adhesion and it was about 40 degrees out but I just used a heat gun to warm things up as per the instructions and it seems to be attached well. ... show more

These rail caps feel sturdy, fit nearly perfectly (both were about 1/2" short on the edge nearest the back of the cab but barely noticeable), installed easily, and look great on my truck!

I have a 2003 Dodge RAM 2500 and I lost my bedliner on a windy drive a while back. I decided to go with a bedliner mat instead of the full bedliner. With the bed mat, my rails were exposed and a bit worn. I went the with Bushwacker caps for the bed rails and the tailgate cap. I love these. They make the truck look brand new (from the bed side of things). They are cheap, relatively easy to install and look really nice. The install process took about 20 minutes for both rails and the tailgate cap. I've had no issues with them coming off or raising up. These, combined with the TrailFX bedline mat and the tri-fold Tonneau cover makes the truck look years younger for a small investment. ... show more

This tailgate cap is in no way like the original. It has no holes for the bolts and doesn't even cover the existing holes even if you somehow found a way to secure it. It relies solely on double sided tape, nothing like oem quality. The seller I bought from is terrible and doesn't want to take it back even though it's completely useless and in no way my fault. Sellers like this should be banned from Amazon and subject to legal ramifications. I buy from Amazon so I don't have to deal with this garbage.
