Very clear glass and crisp reticle. It held zero through a whole 325 round box of federal auto match 22LR. I mounted it to my ruger 10/22 tactical on UTG low pro max strength scope rings.

Great for a shotgun

    • My choice for a hunting muzzle-loader.
This is the second Bushnell Banner Dusk & Dawn scope that I have mounted on my T/C Encore .50 cal. muzzle-loader. I immediately replaced the first one after it was damaged in a drop after 13 years of faithful, rugged service and dozens of deer. I actually preferred the Circle-X reticle on my first scope to the Multi-X, but that was my choice to save a couple of bucks on an incredibly economical scope. I think this scope seems to check all of the boxes for a perfect hunting scope for deer during ML season in the open hardwoods mountains of SW Virginia. I particularly like the fast focus eyepiece, the compact size and light weight on my hefty ML. 1.5 - 4x32 is plenty of magnification for the 100 yard maximum shots that I take and the often low-light situations that I encounter. The optics are superior to other scopes in this price range. I would not hesitate to get another one and I have enthusiastically recommended this scope to friends. It is a real value. ... show more

Bought this to put on a Mossberg Patriot .350 Legend. This is a straight-wall rifle caliber, now a legal option in several former shotgun-only for deer states. Basically a 200-yd gun, so 1.5-4.5x magnifcation is perfect. Installs like any other riflescope. I did have to shim the front ring a little bit to get it "on paper" (probably the ring's fault, not the scope) but from there to dead-on zero @ 50 yds was accomplished with less than a haf-box of shells. Double-lunged a whitetail doe @ 75 yds last week with this set-up. Good enough for me! ... show more
