We Love Burt's Bees it's on of the only skincare products I can use for our skin allergies and eczema. I bought this "new" but the package had been previously opened and half the product was gone from the foaming soap and the wash rag was just waded up in the package I bought tone from a store the next day and it even smelled different I didn't bother sending it back because I didn't want someone else to have the same issue. Burt's bees is a great product and works Really well for us but whomever sold this kit to us didn't give us the real product in the foaming soap dispenser. ... show more

Where me and Burt's Bees products are concerned I usually swing between 2 extremes: "I love this! It's my new fav- my skin loves it" or " eww, why does it smell like a decaying rose bouquet just got shoved in my face!" I bought several Burt's Bees items, as you can see in pic, to test out before buying my baby's toiletries supply. This set was a convenient purchase (It's giftable). The lotion, rag and shampoo are nice. I made the mistake of not reading the reviews before purchasing. Like others have said, the products that were shipped were completely different from what was described. Instead of receiving a gift set of the belly and foot cream, I received men's products.

The smells are very light, I was hoping to gift these to a friend who was feeling low. Since its burts bees brand, & it was designed for infants I thought it would make a a good gift for any skin type. My friend had no complaints other than they're picky about smell. It doesnt smell chemically, just waxy. Its Burts Bees guys. Tsk tsk. The soaps are good. the lotion to powder is my favourite. I got the sensitive skin essentials with the diaper ointment ultra general lotion and foaming shampoo and wash and washrag. The smell isn't as easy on the nose as the original it smells just like the fragrance free and they both smell a bit harsh. Both of the tubes were still sealed and the foam wash didn't appear to have anything other than what it originally had dispensed into it. I did purchase for 21.50 only to turn around and two days after it's delivered (which was in fair time) it's 14.95 so that's disappointing. Have to use sensitive skin products for most of my kiddos and try to get a good deal for them I guess watch the price first and of course make sure you can handle the smell. ... show more
