We were really relieved once we installed this. Our queen bed has been shifting with the mattress drooping and kept thinking we needed to get some plywood or something similar to be a buffer for our bed. I found this and it was an exciting thing to receive because I knew better rest was possible. We put this in and it was right before bedtime. Immediately, we noticed a difference. Our mattress indeed was sinking and this platform support board put us right back in line again, restoring the firmness of our mattress and structure. This is ideal for any mattress i believe, especially the foam type mattresses as we can't seem to find any box springs or coil spring mattresses anymore. This is a proper buffer that we were seeking to strengthen our bed and support. We are larger folks and this saved our mattress, money and showed us that this was an issue we could work through instead of replacing our mattress again as we kept running into the problem of a vacuum sealed bed, just not offering the support we need. This has been a total game changer and solved all of our support issues. We rest better and feel a lot more structure that was missing.

I installed this almost immediately after I received it as I have a twin mattress that just IS NOT doing the job and I feared it was because of it being a hybrid with springs that had nothing to push against with a traditional "bar setup" frame. Yup. It helped considerably - particularly in the center of the mattress. Assembly was a breeze - it took longer to get the mattress off the bed than it did to strap this to the frame with the attached straps, and have the two panels stuck together. The sturdiness is great - I'm a big guy and pressing down on it between bed bars, I couldn't get it to warp in the slightest. It IS a little bit shorter than the bed frame but it does match the length of the mattress, which is the important part. If it saves one from having to buy a new mattress or prolongs the life of a mattress, this is BY FAR a great value for the money. Recommended!
