My son (11) wanted a claw machine, but we don’t have the room for the “professional” ones nor the funds. So we tried this one. I read a lot of reviews, good and bad, and figured let’s give it a try. At first, it didn’t work. The instructions were not super clear so we went to YouTube for help. The chain had to be adjusted, so after following a few quick steps to open the top of the machine we adjusted it and it worked! We haven’t put too much in it as I also bought the plastic containers based on the description, but they didn’t fit. I purchased this claw machine along with new batteries but it didn’t work from the beginning. Just to double check I bought another pack of new batteries but it still didn’t work. I ordered a replacement claw machine, just opened it and tried both sets of batteries, and it doesn’t work either. Don’t waste your time or money. ... show more

I wasn't sure about this one...Half expected to get a janky machine that was going to break within a week. So far, so good. It's fun, because I'll find trinkets around the house to throw in there for 'prizes'. All the small little randoms my kid brings home or collects from coin machines or treasure boxes at school....boom-claw machine prize. My kid got onto a vid call with classmates and won them prizes he took to school to them the next day. It's just good fun!! To be honest, the quality in which it's made isn't terrible either. The grip on the 'claw' seems to grab/hold pretty well. I've put things with a little weight in there for testing. Good stuff!! ... show more

This is SO LOUD. You cannot turn the sound off or lower to volume. I wouldn't have bought this had I known. I can hear it across the house. The claw is pretty weak but it picks up the dinosaurs that came with it. My kids love it.

We had to try this out before we gifted it. What fun. My great granddaughter loves those claw machines so we got her this one. It takes 3 D batteries that are not included.
