My conclusion after years of experience was "Shaving is expensive." This is especially true for us Gillette guys, so I ventured into the value razor market. sometimes it is smoother than my schick razor and sometimes it is too sharp and cut my skin. I have a very sensitive skin and my beard is not that thick. Maybe it is better for a person with thicker hair. For me it was meh.
