    • The thinnest card/cash holder I have found

I used to carry my wallet in my back pocket. Over the years, I discovered that credit cards would get cracked being carried this way. I seldom had cards last until they expired. I switched to carrying the wallet in the front pocket. I works to protect the cards, but every wallet I have ever used this way is just too BULKY for my taste. Bulky wallets in the rear pocket are one thing. I don't like the look that much in the front pocket. Part of the bulk issue is how many cards and how much cash I carry. For front pocket carry, I cut way back on the number of cards. I now only carry those I NEED on a continuing or particular basis, which winds up being only 4-5. Also, I am more selective on how much cash I carry, related to the number and denomination of bills. I have pared down the number of bills to limit bulk to 10-12. This Buffway wallet carries my new go-to items with less total thickness than my most most current wallet with nothing in it. I think I am going to like this. It will take some time to get used to the fact that everything in the wallet is not COVERED, as it is in a conventional wallet, but since the thing lives in my pocket all the time, this characteristic is only evident when the wallet is out of my pocket for use. In this condition, it is just like the old wallet out of my pocket and opened for use. The cash storage in the Buffway is not necessarily the greatest, but I am going to get used to it given the number of layers of material devoted to cash storage in a convention bifold wallet that ARE NOT REQUIRED in this design. Life is full of trade-offs. Carrying only 10-12 bills is going to be preferable to the bulk of my current wallet. It will require planning, buy I think it will be worth it. Besides, requirements for carrying cash are diminishing day by day. I find myself doing as many transactions as possible these days with my watch. I am okay with that. When travelling, I am always aware of what I am carrying in my wallet and why I am doing so. I have lately taken to doing the same for local trips. I now feel that having everything available at all times is not the way to go. I now simplify and am much more selective about what I carry. The Buffway wallet is excellent for this lifestyle. I do not give a rating for durability, because I only just started using this item. It does seem that the material and construction are top notch, but only time will tell. I do know that front-pocket carry is less harsh on any wallet construction I have carried in the past. The reduced bulk of the Buffway cannot hurt in that regard. ... show more

Before deciding on this Buffway wallet, I purchased one from Travelambo. As a result, I can compare the two. The material of my coffee colored Travelambo wallet was suede leather as opposed to the smooth leather of my black Buffway wallet, and I much prefer the feel of the Buffway. I found that the Travelambo's slots were tighter, making it a challenge to pull cards out. I have one credit card that I primarily use for purchases, and which I put in the first slot of the Buffway wallet. The Buffway's finger notch is surprisingly helpful for accessing that card. Overall I'm very happy with the Buffway, and glad I exchanged the Travelambo slim wallet for this one. I can't comment on how effective either wallet is at RFID blocking - reviews seem to suggest that minimalist wallets in general struggle with effective RFID blocking. ... show more

I went to this wallet from a ‘ridge’ style. I’m very happy with this wallet. Yes it’s wider and longer. But I think it’s thinner once all my items are in it. And I like that the bills are stored in the interior and not exposed. I like that one side has a plastic cover to allow viewing without taking out the ID. I have my doubts that it’s RFID blocking. I have a badge on once side and it reads no matter which direction I have it faced to the card reader. ... show more

I gifted this to my significant other as he needed a new wallet, and didn't want bulky. He so far has liked this as much as what he previously had. Only thing I have noticed is that it's SUPER tight to get the ID out of that one slot, but I know that with time, and repetition of use of that slot it'll loosen up. But if you're looking to get anyone in your life a new slim wallet, GET THIS! :) ... show more

I have bought and returned so many wallets I thought amazon was going to cancel my account. None of them held the cards they claimed, most were flimsy and cheaply made. This is not a designer item by any means, but it is simple, holds the 7 credit cards, drivers license, insurance card and work id. I cannot say if this blocks rfid and that is not why i bought it. I do not carry cash in my wallet as I have a money clip, but you could probably get a few bills in here as well as the cards. The only thing I think would have improved it is if the card pockets faced opposite directions on the sides, this way the width of the wallet would even out instead of a big thick end and skinny end. Will have to wait and see if this causes damage to the cards. Will reply later if the durability doesn't hold up but it looks good so far. ... show more

I’ve been using the same wallet since I started to understand to the value of it. A nice classical wallet that my sister gave me. However, it has started to show signs of wear so I figured it was time to change. When I got this I was a bit worried that I might have to cut down in the cash and cards but oh boy was I wrong. This wallet managed to fit all my cards and helped me manage my cash better. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t have many cards, but it still managed to fit 7 cards, a fist full of quarters, a multi tool, and a fair but if cash. I know nothing about durability yet - call back in 2 years. I know nothing about "giftability" - whatever in the hell that is... but I can keep a few essential cards and IDs and get through the day without a big lump on my butt. I is nice to have.
