A new additional ounce stamp features a brush rabbit (Sylvilagus bachmani). The brush rabbit is a small brownish cottontail rabbit of the U.S. West Coast and Baja California, Mexico. The pencil-and-watercolor illustration is from preexisting artwork by designer and illustrator Dugald Stermer. The words "Additional Ounce" indicate this stamps usage value. This stamp will always be valid for the rate printed on it.

They were amazing! I don’t know if the top review person was shipping something more than 1 ounce but if your letter is under 1 ounce you’ll be able to just put one stamp on it and put it in the mailbox. I don’t know if it’s just in Ohio, but I’m pretty sure it’s in all of the United States. My daughter uses them for trading photocards and every time it works just fine. ... show more
