I was looking for a professional looking pair of shoes for work and for campaign events. I work in the healthcare as a manager and must dress professional. I am also a candidate for Governor for California. I wanted to find a pair of shoes that were very comfortable as both of these roles require me to be on my feet a lot. And as amputee it is hard to find dress that work well with your prosthesis. I found these shoes (yes I bought two pair) are perfect for my active work life and political activities, they are comfortable allowing me to walk and stand for hours with any discomfort at all. Fit as expected and have a high quality look. I have had many different pairs of Bruno Marc shoes. They always fit well but they are hard on the bottom of your feet. After the first pair I needed insoles. They don't have much cushion for your feet at all, but insoles aren't expensive and I swap them between the different pairs I have. I work for a company that requires dress attire but also requires you to be in curcustamces that can be hard on dress shoes. Having a shoe brand that looks great and is easy on the wallet is well worth the insoles being purchased. ... show more

For years I bought the same shoe every time I had to replace a pair that was worn out. Unfortunately, the pair I would order about once a year from Macys was discontinued.
