As it is a formal/tuxedo shoe for an occasion, fit and style with no surprises upon opening the box were foremost. Price was critical too, as likely a 1-2 time/year wear, at best. So, with rent options I saw around $15-25 and shopping style, driving there, I figured I'd buy online. Not disappointed. This shoe's style is modern, with more of an elongated, pointed, definitely not square, toe, and the shoes look great and very true to the pictures and video -- perhaps even better in person, as you never know if your size will look as good as the pictured size. Also, very nice, expensive-looking soles with a bit of tread grip but still keeping very refined. More so, fit was good and true (11, medium width) to what I wear and expect in a dress shoe. As for durability and comfort, again, it's a tux/dress shoe. So, you're not hiking and playing tennis in 'em. If you had to use regularly for a job, you might need to investigate. And, if I didn't already own a nice tux at a steal price, I might have weighed in on purchase price vs. rent more given likely limited use. But, I think a decent price, and for out-of-the-box, no frills or returns wanted, these are perfect. Very happy.

Great option for a black tie event for affordable price. Shoe was a bit narrow but comfortable enough to wear throughout the evening. Looked great with a tux. Easy to put on without a show horn and nice quality for special occasions just a few times a year.

Very nice quality and great fit! Color as expected and nice weight. My husband has a hard time getting shoes to fit properly. He has a very narrow and flat foot but these seem to feel great! Haven’t worn them for events quite yet. We will see how they feel after a few hours. I’ll try to post an update.

Shoes came dirty, scuffed, and the heal is walked over, this shoe is not new; very disappointed!! I am giving it 3 stars because I was offered a full refund and was not forced to change my review. I recommend this shoe to my cousin because if it had came brand new it would have been so pretty.
