I've been on the hunt for some new dress shoes. So I searched Amazon and discovered the Bruno Marc Men's Crossflex Casual Dress Shoes, they offered the desired features, so I ordered them. The item arrived promptly in a few days. The shoes were well packaged in a heavy-duty, branded shoe box of the quality you would find at a high-end shoe store. Inside the box. each shoe was wrapped in a protective soft foam. As packaged, they would be very suitable for gift-giving. The shoes have a high-quality look and feel. While they are not made of real leather, they look like any leather shoe you would find at a shoe store. Beyond that, it is clear that the designers put a lot of thought into the inside of the shoe, which offers a padded heal area, arch support, and a vented insole. The outer sole of the shoe is a non-slip design. Be aware of the following, The uppers of shoes are made of PU leather (polyurethane leather). The sizing runs large compared to US-made shoes, so measure your feet and use the provided size chart when ordering. The shoes are described as not waterproof, but I think they would be as adequate as any other dress shoe if you're caught in the rain. My only complaint about these shoes is the way they came laced up from the factory, but it was easy to re-lace them in the more traditional dress-shoe-lacing pattern. Overall, I feel this is a quality product and recommend it.

While they are made from pleather or lower-grade leather, they are surprisingly stylish and well-made for the price. I always order a half size larger, which was a great choice here as the fit is snug due to my wide forefoot. The length is accurate, so the extra half size ensures comfort. The rubber outsole provides good spring and grip, a welcome change from the slippery leather soles of my previous high-end shoes. The Derby design is timeless and sophisticated, and the vegan leather upper gives them a modern edge. The soft lining and foam insole offer excellent impact absorption, making them comfortable for all-day wear. These shoes are surprisingly lightweight and feature a sporty TPR outsole that provides smooth movement and shock absorption. The lace-up closure ensures a snug and adjustable fit, adding to their versatility. Overall, these shoes are a smart choice for both dress suits and casual pants. I’ve gone 180 degrees from my years of purchasing luxury and famous maker brands. I know they say you get what you pay for but these days I find that as long as it looks good and holds together, I don’t need to pay to be an adverting board for someone else’s brand. These shoes are well made considering it’s pleather or very low quality leather. It appears stylish and they are comfortable enough. I always order a half size larger and in this case I’m so glad as it fits snuggly due to my wide forefoot. The length is true so it’s long as I ordered it bigger. The bottoms are rubber so there is some spring and grip unlike my mezlan, ferragamo, and Allen Edmonds which are beautifully crafted but have leather bottoms where I’m slipping and sliding in style, but definitely lighter in the wallet.

I didn't catch when reading the description that these were VEGAN leather - so that's a little misleading. Vegan leather just means plastic, specifically Polyurethane. It is clearly marked as Polyurethane in the listing at the top, so they weren't being deceptive really, I just don't like that term. As shoes, they're quite comfortable, but a little hot since Polyurethane doesn't breathe. But otherwise look nice. The reason I dropped them a single star - they're a bit hot on your feet, and they're laced very strange from the factory. That means you have to unlace and re-lace them, an unnecessary step in my opinion.
