Being so used to sneakers, you know what sizes you need from certain brands. Nike is usually a size up for me while Adidas is a size down. Because of the style of this shoe, you may want to get a size smaller than what you're used to. If you own multiple shoes of different sizes, I'd say just find the average & go a size down. The style of this shoe is narrower at the toe, not rounded like a sneaker. If you order your usual size, you may find that you have a lot of toe space & notice that your shoe feels about an inch longer than what you're used to. As an expert at not doing research, I bought these shoes along with many similar shoes & boots (Palladium Boots, Chelsea Boots, Thursday Boots etc), and failed to go down a size & now all my shoes feel a little funny with the large space left for my toes. As someone who is used to buying sneakers, this is never really a problem - but because this is such a far more sophisticated style of shoe, it's a different ballpark & you'll have to trust reviews like this one! Also, if you're making the wardrobe move from sneakers to shoes like this (like I am), you're making a very rational adult decision & I am proud of you. Other than that, I highly recommend this shoe. I'm very, very pleased with these shoes. For me, they fit perfectly, with just enough breathing room to fit comfortably and for a long period of time. The finish is totally "matte" being genuine suede leather, and they look really fashionable. There's a little stretchy fabric at the very rear of the upper heal area, which allows for super easy donning/doffing of these shoes. I rarely order shoes off amazon, but for some reason I only order chukka boots. This is one of three pairs I’ve bought. Next pair was $35 and 3rd was $70. I kid you not these surpass the other pairs a thousand times. I bought this pair about a year ago and wanted to test other shoes off because I was so happy about these. I have to say that I didn't have high hopes for these shoes. I bought them at the last minute for my son's school dance as we searched about 10 stores looking for a pair like this. I finally looked on Amazon and found this pair at a low cost and I could have them next day in time for the dance. Now, my son is the pickiest little turd when it comes to clothes. He thinks we are celebrities or that he is really the child of Elan Musk or something and must have been switched at birth because he only likes Yeezy's, Gucci, etc because he's a 13 year old douche. NO, it's not my fault. My other 2 older boys and exemplary young men. This one was born like this. I swear at 3 years old he was already so very EXTRA. I love him dearly though which is why I went to 10 stores looking for these damned shoes for him the night before the dance. Yep...I know I'm an enabler. Get over it and move on with the review. So I KNEW that if these shoes looked cheap, he wasn't going to wear them. Fortunately, they were very nice so that he DID wear them and I didn't have to rip his head off his his almost pubescent body. They looked great on him. I have not worn them outside yet but inside my house they feel great, I wish I got 1 size up... I wear a 10.5 and should have gotten an 11 They look amazing but I feel very cautious wearing them because I have not worn suede before. I live in Nevada so they might not be as comfortable as they would be in a colder climate but I will still enjoy them! ... show more

Yes these shoes look nice, and fit well, but if there is one thing i enjoy most about these shoes is that you can run in them. I mean i think i have sprinted faster in these than i have in my running shoes. i thought a dress shoe that doesn't lace would be impossible to run in but these are awesome.
