These are very comfortable shoes. The rubber sole is very flexible with good traction that steps quietly across hard floors. The fabric top wraps around my foot like a comfortable sock. The 10.5 shoe size was the right fit for my 10.5W foot. The thick rubber sole is fairly pliable and provides adequate padding. Additional padding is provided by a removable inner sole that is cork lined. There is also a second pair of inner soles provided that do not have the cork lining which can be easily switched out for the cork lined inner soles, or saved for later use. The shoes come with relatively thin stretchable laces as shown in the illustration, but another pair of round, color coordinated laces is included and I installed these as they look and function much better. These round laces have a little stretch in them so the shoes can be put on and removed without untying the laces. However, the laces are a little long and I had to use a Fisherman’s bow knot to keep the ends and loops from dragging on the floor. All in all, a good shoe for the price and I find myself wearing these most days. They won’t last as long as more expensive leather shoes, but I will enjoy them in the meantime.

Last year I bought a pair of these for my dad, he loves these style of loafers but usually just buys himself a $15 pair at walmart. I figured he'd need something fancier - and I saw the "Hey Dudes" but they were too expensive. That's when I stumbled upon these. The man won't take them off now, he wears them everywhere. So much that he wore them down after about a year. So I just bought him a new pair for his birthday over the weekend, and he was elated! I will be buying these again and again for him - what a great shoe. :)

Nice alternative to hey dude's. Better price but limited selection (so far.) That said, keep 'em comin'! I'll be a customer. Edit: Was able to buy in sizes 13 & 14 to accommodate my different sized feet! Availabilities don't often permit that due to the fact hey dude's sell out so rapidly. Comparing HD to BM sizes, they're similar in the way they fit. Some folks suggested BM's run large but I don't think so. BTW The extra laces are different than the elastic type. They're much longer old fashioned tie in a bow type laces, that give the shoe an entirely different look!
