I like these shoes. They look great. My only complaint is that the soles feel thin. This with even when accounting for my orthotic inserts. If I had to buy again, I might go a size up and add on thicker insoles. The looks though… wow!! It’s a sexy looking shoe and I get compliments on them when I wear them. They go with just about every color combination as well to give some versatility. If you don’t mind a thinner sole, then give them a shot. I am 6 foot 240pounds, so my weight may be a factor too. Had an outdoor wedding I had to attend weather was looking downright horrible, there was no way I was going to sacrifice my $200 Johnson & Murphy's to it. Picked these up for $38 bucks. They are every bit of a $38 shoe. Fake leather, plastic laces, and some kind a cheap rubber/plastic sole and a tad squeaky but honestly unless someone was at ground level looking at them they'd never know the shoes cost $38 and for the 4 hour wet & rainy outdoor wedding reception they absoultley fulfilled their need. Chances are I will never wear them again but someone on a budget could get a good few months of daily use out of them. Just makes me laugh when I read reviews of people complaining about $40 shoe not lasting them forever....YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!! ... show more

The fit of the shoe is true to size. The quality and craftsmanship is really nice but most of all the comfort is the best part. I wore them for the first time thinking there would be a break in period. No break in period needed. These are so comfortable I am already planning on buying 2 more pair in the different colors. Surprisingly comfortable. Good value. I wore them in Italy around Milan and they felt as good as my older favorite shoes. I am a little worried about the materials holding up over the long haul. They go well with smart casual and business dress. Could be worn with jeans or slacks, and a sports shirt or turtle neck with sports coat, but probably not with a suit or coat with a tie. UPDATE: Customer Service reached out and sent me a new pair of shoes and they are much better! Updated from 2 to 4 stars. I would definitely recommend these shoes. ************************************************************************************************ My son is typically a 10.5/11 and I bought these in an 11. WAY TOO BIG! There was 2 inches between his toes and the tip of the shoe. Also, some of the reviews mentioned the crease where the toes bend. The shoes fit perfectly my size, as expected. They are exactly the way they look in the pictures. Found them strong and nicely finished. So far I recommend the product.
