Love the shoe itself and it is great quality. Size wise, they run WAY big. My son wears a size 4, and that is a size 4 in the picture. As you can see, I have a full thumb nail plus some between his toe and the end of the shoe. Fits more like a size 6.

I normally wear a men's street shoe in 5.5-6. This big kid's size 6 shoe was much too large - 1-1.5 sizes too large. It's at least as large as a men's size 7-7.5. Too bad because I liked the shoe otherwise. It looks well made and matches the image shown on the website. I'm giving it a 4* rating mainly because it was too large for me, but if you get the proper size, you'll probably like it.

Wow I love these shoes! They're definitely my favorite shoes. I even bought a second pair because I originally intended them for a wedding but I knew that I would wind up wearing them constantly and scuff them before the wedding occurs, so now I have a pair to show and a pair to blow. Which turned out to be a good call, because I got caught out in the rain one time and the puddles of course slightly stripped the finish from the wood in the heels. Also, because they have a bit of a shine (though less of a patent look than in the photo) they do scuff somewhat easily, though not excessively so. The mars are barely noticeable after wearing them pretty frequently for two months, however. I just want to have a pair on hand which will be pristine for the wedding and other special occasions in the future. One thing I was surprised at is how good of an arch support they have. I usually have to wear inserts in my shoes, but not in these! (In fact, the inserts actually do not fit in these shoes as the arch support is already good enough that adding more raises my heel too high for them to fit properly.) As others have mentioned, they do run a bit large. I have small feet and usually wear a size 5 boys, but I ordered a size 4 and they fit perfectly.

I am so fustrated with this shoe. it's the second one I buy, and it doesn't fit my 7yr old. He's usually a size 13-1 and I first bought a size "13 little kid" (too small) then I reordered a size up size "1 big kid" and now the problem is, that it's huge!!! It's a great looking shoe, good quality, but horrible description of sizes and I needed this for Friday and Saturday. 😑

After reading the reviews I was a little worried that maybe I should have sized down and I'm glad that I didn't. Got my toddler a size 9 (his usual size) the shoe is tight to put on but fit perfectly once the lace was loosen. Perfect for the holidays or special occasion outfits

My son is 5 and wears a 13 normally. When I first opened the box, I thought they’d be too big, but they’re not. It’s just a longer toe area. He kept them on for the whole wedding and ran around the whole time. Color is great and so is the style.

We bought these for our 7 year old who is slim and wears a size 2 in Nikes. The shoes fit perfectly. I expected them to run a little big but not too big where they are falling off. Just big enough to leave space for a growing boy. The quality of the shoes is something I didn’t even expect buying off Amazon. Overall I am happy with this purchase and would buy it again.
