  • For a 2 year old
We bought this for our two year old who is really into forklift trucks. We were genuinely surprised at the quality of this toy. The forklift mechanism is just a little more sophisticated than you would think, and I'm sure it's holding our toddlers attention because of it. It's also a nice size a weight, not to big that it is awkward or hard for him to carry around, but big enough that he really gawks at the details. It has counter-geared steering on the back wheels, which makes it challenging for him to drive and so is likely to push him developmentally. It also has a nice lifting mechanism with the pallet, which makes it very realistic. We were very excited to find a fairly substantial booklet of other toys by this maker and a brief glance indicates that their other toys appear to show a similar level of design and quality. We will definitely be revisiting that for future birthdays and Christmas gifts. When the toy was first out of the box some of the features were a bit stiff for little hands, but they've loosened up now and work beautifully. It's not for every 2 year old, as it does require a little patience and is plastic, so could break if tossed around, but otherwise a great toy. ... show more

  • Great addition for boy who loves trucks
Like the quality and details of the bruder brand. Gave this as a Christmas gift for 2.5 year old. He loves it and knows exactly how to use it. Only dislike is hard to keep both pallets stacked together but that is just like it is in real life too. Hope to buy more bruder as he grows.

  • Bruder is the best
Bruder makes the best toys. Their products are incredibly sturdy and so much fun to play with. I gifted this to my five-year-old nephew and he has already played with it for hours. I love that it not only looks like a forklift, but it functions exactly like one as well. The two little pallets it comes with are so cute and he has gotten such a kick out of them. ... show more

  • Great forklift toy
My son loves playing with this toy. I think it is priced well for the quality.

  • Kind of small but has a lot of features to it.
I really thought this fork lift was larger but it is okay and is very realistic. The toy is well made and sturdy and it has been in continuous use by a 3 1/2 very active little boy and it is holding up very well compared to some of the other toys he received at Christmas time. It has not come apart and has been put through some rough playing. The only thing that concerns me is the forks are very pointy. I know it is a fork lift, but it still is very pointy especially is there is a younger sibling as there is in my household. I make sure the little one is not around when it is being played with. Other than that, it's a great toy! ... show more

  • Surprisingly accurate!
This fork lift is worth every penny. It actually works exactly like real fork lifts do. The wheels on the back turn and the gears that move the pallets up and down are very close to the real thing. The quality is excellent and it has a lot of durability. Trust me, I have a toddler and I've had waaaay too much experience at re-purchasing trucks that break. This one has lasted a long time! ... show more

  • i mean honestly the rear steering knuckles could have just been some plastic part but they are genuinely styled to look like the real deal
quite an impressive little toy, the attention to detail is impressive, gave it to my son for Christmas and my dad joked that many of the real forklifts he had used in real life didn't even have a second stage boom but his grandson's toy did. i mean honestly the rear steering knuckles could have just been some plastic part but they are genuinely styled to look like the real deal. One minor complainant, the rear of the forklift has a plastic black thing clipped in that i did not know if it was a piece of packing material or if it should be keep for attaching accessories ... show more

  • DRIVEN is better
The fork is very easy to fall off. I fixed with glue gun. I think DRIVEN forklift is better.
