Description

The BRUDER police force is being enhanced. BRUDER emergency services will now also be able to police hard-to-reach terrain outside the city limits thanks to a 4x4 police pick-up truck. The service vehicle is based on the familiar RAM 2500 and it features the appealing and striking colour design most of all typical in the US as well as a Light & Sound module fitted on the roof. Just like the real thing, the toy features a crew cab with four doors. All doors open to accommodate four bworld figures. This model at a scale of 1:16 features suspension on both axles to provide ride comfort and off-road capability. In this context, the front axle can be steered using the included steering wheel extension. The tailgate opens to transport it during play. The included policeman is excellently equipped and prepared for a number of potential deployments. The bworld police station (item no. 62730) and the Jeep Rubicon Unlimited as police vehicle (item no. 02526) from the ample range of emergency service vehicles and figures are particularly fitting additions.

I have bought many of this brand of Trucks/machinery. They are to scale and even though they are plastic and seem a little unstable, they are actually good! Kids love these!! In my opinion they are not as durable as metal but they are like the real vehicle but only a toy!

The police officer does not fit in the truck as a driver or passenger. The extra steering wheel for the roof can’t be used if you put the lights on the roof. Overall I didn’t feel it was as good quality as other Bruder trucks I’ve bought.

Quality is top-notch as all Bruder toys are, but it has one flaw that overshadows all good. The bworld policeman doesn’t fit inside. Our 3-yo was crying a lot because of this. Other Bruder bworld toys - you can sit figures inside easily. But this particular truck has too little headspace so you can’t really fit the policeman inside. You can squeeze it in with force, but definitely not if you’re kid. Also, it has standard bruder wheel turner in the base, but you can’t use it because the socket is right below the light&sound module and is not accessible. You can check how this works flawlessly with their police jeep or defender police truck. But with this RAM model - it seems they took standard platform but forgot to tune it up to bworld specs. So, most of other Bruder toys get 5 stars, but this one really stands aside not in the best meaning. ... show more

    • Driver demoted for stature
Until this purchase, I’ve been fateful to Playmobil sets for their ease of use, range of accessories, and durability. I wanted to try another brand in building a police collection and Bruder seemed comparable to my brand of choice. For the price, I at the very least, expected the figure to fit inside truck. Any hopes of having this figure drive would require tremendous effort and tampering. and this is AFTER taking all of his accessories off. My child is unable to use the figure with the truck. It is far too big to fit in the front or back seat. Although I had my eye on several other Bruder sets, I am not likely to purchase this brand again.     • The truck falls apart and I paid $78
This is not cool my grandson wanted this truck so bad for his 5 th birthday . It has fallen apart 5 times and my daughter has fixed it . He won’t give it up to return otherwise I would . HELP!!!!!

    • terrible design
this was our first bruder purchase after my son played with some friends' trucks recently. we were really impressed with the quality of the others but this one is basically nonsensical. the bruder people don't fit in the truck! we finally got the policeman wedged in the driver's seat with some effort but trying to fit any of the other characters in the passenger seats is impossible, especially in the back. Bruder advertises specifically that all Bruder characters will fit in all Bruder vehicles so this was really disappointing. secondly, the lights/siren have to be removed to steer from above, which defeats the whole purpose of even having lights and sirens. why not bump the steering wheel or the lights an inch forward or backward to accommodate both at the same time? seems like it would take so much more effort to design the removable lights and sirens. very disappointed especially compared to other Bruder vehicles. we will likely be returning. ... show more

We are huge Bruder fans. Our kids receive Bruder trucks every year for Christmas. We were so excited this one would come in time. Then it arrived with a visible scratch down the side. We decided to let it go since this was a “Santa” gift and there wasn’t time to exchange it. Christmas morning comes and our cheapskate Santa left a truck with a door that was broken.
