Description

Bruder's jcb midi CX backhoe loader is like the real thing! it combines three tools in one: a mini Digger, a compact tractor and a compact wheel loader. It features a swiveling driver's seat that allows for operation of the backhoe. The front loading arm carries a grip for steering and a locking mechanism in the upper position. The front loading shovel locks into two positions for loading and unloading. The backhoe has fold-down support legs which is also detachable. The front loader and backhoe loader scoops are both changeable. From the Manufacturer This JCB MIDI CX Backhoe Loader is made just like the real thing. The frontloading arm has a grip for steering and a locking mechanism in the upper position. The frontloading shovel has 2 positions for loading and unloading. The driver’s seat swivels to allow for the operation of the backhoe. The backhoe has fold-down support legs and is also detachable. The backhoe loading arm is able to excavate below ground level and the scoop steering can be operated using one hand. The front loader and backhoe loader scoops are both changeable. The standard tractor coupling, which is included, can be mounted when the backhoe loading unit has been removed; this allows all trailers and farming equipment available to be used. The soft rubber tires have real treads.

I gave this to my son as a gift 6 months ago. It was his favorite toy and he took it everywhere. Unfortunately the excavator shovel came off 6 months after I gave it to him and about month later the front loader bucket broke off. I was able to tie string around the excavator shovel to reattach it to the tractor, but I couldn't fix the front loader part. Not sure if I'll buy a new one at this time, due to the price and durability. It still brought him a lot of happiness and it sure got a lot of playtime out of it. ... show more

This is a well made and very detailed item. My 3 yr old grandson loves “diggers” - but for now this may be a little “fancy” for him. It is beautiful though, and worth the money.

Very impressed by this product, so much so that I'm going back a year later to rave about it in a review.     • Great gift for my 3 year old!
Very pleased with this purchase. My son is not hard on toys, so this is holding up well with him. His cousins are a bit rougher and so far, it’s held up against them as well. The kids took it to the sand and the sand came out pretty easily and didn’t seem to cause issues with the mechanics of the backhoe. For a boy who loves construction equipment, this was a great choice. The size is perfect for them to push around, but not too big that they try to ride on it. Will be purchasing from this company again! ... show more

    • Very Impressive scale model
I had never heard of Bruder toys until my grand kids showed me what they would like "Santa" to bring them if they were good. Don't know why they told me..., but I decided to help "Santa" out and look into the Bruder line. I was impressed on how realistic they were for the price. Santa told me that the grand kids were good and they could have the toys they wanted. I picked up 5 different sets (2 for me, I was good too) and put my 2 in the toy box as to give them "The Test". So far they are standing up to the punishment. The other reason I gave this 5 stars is because of AMAZON! When I received the Bruder JCB Midi CX Loader Backhoe it had a fracture in a part, probably done in assembly?, I notified Amazon and within 2 days I had a replacement!! "WOW" Sad to say but the replacement was fractured in the same place. I notified Amazon of this and I also decided to keep the toy as it would be of no avail to get another. I am pretty good at fixing things so if it breaks "Grandpa will fix it". Amazon agreed to this and even gave me 30% credit on the toy! I was totally amazed! Thanks and God Bless ... show more

    • This is fabulous
We have TEN Bruder construction toys so this review is going to show up in all ten places. These are all very well made with extreme attention to detail. They are made of plastic and of course could be broken but they have a smart design and are reasonably durable. The mirrors on the Mack dump truck are probably the weakest item, but if they were to break off the truck would be otherwise functional. Toys break. We have the cement truck, skid steer loader, log truck, mack truck, tractor trailer with bulldozer, backhoe, two different types of excavators, an articulating front end loader, fire engine, and something called a tele-extender. These all have so much intriguing detail that the kids are immediately drawn to them. They all have moving parts that allow them to perform their real world functions. There are detents built in to hold position, so for example with the bulldozer, backhoe and front loader, the blades can be fixed and held in several different positions. As far as toys go, these are expensive but even a three year old understands from the detail that these are different that the coarser, simpler $20 equivalents. These clearly look like the "real" things. We've all had a lot of fun with these. ... show more
