We ordered these Brriy 3-foot metal fence posts to help protect our young pine trees from the ravages of our deer herd who otherwise eat the branches in the winter and rub antlers to mark territory. These types of fence posts are exactly what everyone uses to install temporary or lightweight fencing. The flag is intended to keep the u-shaped metal post upright and prevent pull-out. These are only 3-foot posts, meaning that the effective post height after pounding them into the earth is only 24 inches. Obviously, we are using these for little trees. If you need more elevated support, you can order the larger sized posts in one-foot increments up to 7 feet tall. These arrived quickly and are in terms of quality just like the ones at the big box stores, but for better price. We got these to install temporary fencing around young trees to keep our curious doggies from digging up the roots. The stakes are solid and well made. Very happy with these.

These are good quality. They seem to be the same design and quality as larger heavier duty stakes I’ve used for 4 and 5’ fencing. They came very well packaged to ensure they didn’t get beat up, and I appreciate that. These are a good bundle for smaller stakes for sure.
