I didn’t pay attention to the description. I don’t journal: I slip into self-absorbed behavior too often w/o that daily self-attention. This is a journal. It sort of lays flat. Note the pictures. Anyone know what those Chinese characters say? Does anyone record phone numbers anymore? I found this nostalgic and endearing. Very nice day one quality for the price. ... show more

I love the color and quality of this journal. The paper is thick and writing lines are spaced nicely. I’m just disappointed that the pen is not too great. It seems to either be low on ink, or maybe it’s defective. It doesn’t write smoothly. Some letters will be dark and others light. It feels more like it scratches the paper. But I can buy my own pen, so this is still worth it. ... show more
